I go regularly for capacino so I'm not sure what else I can add... Perhaps that I've heard the food is good but I cannot speak from personal experience.
If you want the friendly, at easy, country hangout/shop kind of experience this is a must add to your list.

"The Original" sandwich was DELICIOUS! Very generous amount of turkey, very fresh bread and veggies. Good value per dollar. Ice cream was also yummy!

The loveliest, kindest people. I had the ‘Around the World’ sandwich, which had mango chutney with lots of veggies for good measure. The cafe is how the island is - time has stood still here, in all the best ways. :) The walls are adorned with local artwork, and the cafe also houses a small bookstore, with titles encouraging independent authors, local talent, and indigenous and marginalized voices.
Absolutely loved this little bookstore Cafe. The coffee is delicious, we left with a bag of the beans that they use so we could enjoy it at home although I can't make it the way they do in the Cafe. Friendly staff, quick service and lots of places to sit outside. The food was phenomenal too. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Abraxas Books and Café is a gem of a place! The sandwiches are SO hearty and delicious, and they serve awesome lattes:) The owner is kind and welcoming, and the bookstore/shop area is well-curated, including the works of local artists. I could spend hours in this place any day of the week! It is worth a trip over from Vancouver Island!

Great sandwich and drinks. Stopped in twice on our last visit to Denman. Highly recommend dropping in and having lunch. Some fresh baked goods are available my son loved the banana bread. They also have ice cream ! Store has a good selection of books and even some Denman t-shirts. Enjoy the back yard seating in the shade or the sunny seating out front. A must stop spot on the island.
