This is the place to be in town. It's packed and lively chatter fills the air. Everyone over 40. It feels like a community of active lively friendly people. Ithink that is more what the attraction is to coming here , than the food. The bakery items are good and the coffee is rich.

We stopped here on our way to Sooke because of the rave reviews and we were glad we did! It’s a neat little cafe, no bells and whistles but the food is quite delicious. We had the breakfast wrap and Thai chicken wrap which were both wonderful! We also had the mixed fruit smoothie - so refreshing! The staff is genuine and it seemed like there were a lot of regular customers, the staff knew people’s names and were making conversations about the customer’s families, jobs, etc!

The service was terrible today the served the wrong dessert and the decaf capuccino was a latte with a bit of foam on top, very disappointing. Last Sunday when I came here, the service and coffee were very good. What happened today?
