WOW!! Super good food, cooked to perfection. Sometimes the seafood can be over cooked, not the case here. Absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive and accommodating. The waiting time was very reasonable for such a busy place. We drove a long way for the experience and I'm very pleased to say not disappointed in any way. Yummm!

We just enjoyed a fabulous meal to celebrate our 41st anniversary. It was made extra special by our beautiful, smiling, charming waitress Michelle. Not only did she switch us to a harbor view window seat but her food recommendations and terrific service with a brilliant smile made our night out a memorable occasion. Highly recommend and would definitely dine here again.

I have to say, this was one of my most favourite restaurants to have lunch at.
The staff were very nice and accommodating, the food was excellent! and the portions massive! You could feed two with these portions, we were able to box the leftovers for dinner lol

The view, beautiful, I highly recommend this place, it will not dissipate you.

Steaks were good, one over the desired temperature. Porkchop was ok, sauce was like ocean water salty ruined the meat. Mashed potatoes could use some more love like cream cheese, definitely more butter! Kids meals were mediocre. Chicken strips were like fried pieces of cardboard they were so dry. Overall, we will give it another try someday.

We thoroughly enjoyed the world famous Cook and Butcher Caesar. It was a full meal with lobster, shrimp, salmon and more. So good!

We had a great dining experience at The Cook and Butcher today at lunch! The host and server were both so kind to us (especially to my 2.5 year old daughter), and the ceasars and entrees were delicious. You really can’t beat the view of the harbour - watching the sealions was awesome!

This restaurant is overhyped, over priced, and quite pretentious.

We sat on a Friday night for a birthday, I got the baseball steak, which was charred to the point of burnt, medium, and extremely chewy. Our server was almost non existent. We had to ask for cutlery, water, and any additional service outside of taking our order and dropping off the food.
Our server said there was a birthday desert, but never said anything more past that, we were not given any info about a birthday desert nor were we compensated for a desert.

I think people only come here for the view. We came with our grandma to celebrate her 90th bday and were sorrily disappointed. We ordered virgin blackberry lemonades and when the drinks came out, one had fresh blackberries while the other had frozen ones. When we tried to explain to the server that these are not the same drinks as one tastes like blackberry and one only tastes like lemonade, the waitress gave us attitude and begrudgingly took it away. After bringing this to the attention of the manager and asking for a new server so as to not ruin our event, the manager sided with the waitress in that these are the same drinks made correctly and said we cannot have a new waitress. They should microwave the frozen berries if they run out of fresh ones or not serve it. In all my years of fine dining and bartending, I assure you this would never be served.

The food was lacklustre and we awkwardly ate our food as the wait staff talked about us behind our back at the bar 10 feet away. 0/10 experience.

The pasta was flavourless and super oily, while the fish and chips were overcooked.

Service was sub par felt like I was the kid in highschool with no friends lol getting drinks took around 10 mins then power went out and didn’t even get to order any food the the overall experience was horrible when power went out no one came to ask if I wanted another drink or nothing so I left the vibe felt very off and didn’t feel very comfortable there
