I just came from Duncan just over an hour ago. we ordered and hadn't gotten our food yet and saw a cockroach go across our table. needless to say, we canceled our order and left. got charged over 2o$ for our drinks which we didn't drink. I won't be going back.

The food was bland and didn't taste like it had peanuts in the peanut sauce. When I mentioned it, it was like they didn't care and charged us anyway. I left most of it. Very disappointing!

They were so welcoming to our ragtag group, accommodated the dietary restrictions with affirming ease, ensured we knew about the gratuity policy, and overall service that Anna provided us was stellar. Would build a snowman with Anna and Dog House any day.

Awesome service and home cooked type meals. And the pies OMG amazing. Never have to worry about a coffee refill as they leave you a full coffee decanter on the table. Dropped in on way through Duncan coming from Victoria. I highly recommend

Just ate here for the first time in awhile, eggs benny was lovely and service as well. Just wanted to leave a review regarding the fruit bowl I had for dessert. When I was eating I thought it was just me when some of the fruits tasted a bit off.... I was wickedly sick after. Please make sure that you guys are perhaps checking how long these bowls are sitting or if the fruit isn't spoiled? Otherwise everything else was fantastic and a hearty breakfast. Perhaps we could get a free slice of pie next to make up for it? My eggs benny was so good I was sad the fruit spoiled this😅

Had a dinner of chicken stew. Really what it really consisted of was a plate of potatoes and gravy. Maybe two carrot slices and three small pieces of chewy cut up chicken.
Pleasant server but truly sub par meal. Really a disappointment.

Not a fan myself. Food was ok but a bit too expensive for what it is and frankly not the best quality food either. They are charging upscale bar prices and serving low quality, family food. I mean taste it fine if like what they serve but alas. Service was good no issues there. It’s a bit weird of an awkward dynamic but that’s fine. Restaurant interior was unique. They appear to clean the visible areas but not much else. There were lots of dirty and sticky patches which makes me a bit uneasy.
I mean as a family restaurant it’s fine but I wouldn’t recommend it and I won’t be going back.

Great food and better than average service. The place is always hopping. Fast service. Friendly staff. Comfy atmosphere. Blows some restaurants like Milestones & Liberty Kitchen totally away!

Honestly. The food is wonderful! Best beef dip in town! I did however find it to be unnecessarily loud. Servers, kitchen and host SCREAMING “CORNER”every five seconds. In my honest humble opinion it is ran like a manic beehive. Again, hats off to the food! Wonderful. Just they could figure out how to separate the noise and chaos from the general public. 3 out of 5 stars
