My husband and I stopped in for a tasting one our way to Parksville and were greeted by Mike. Nobody else happened to be at the winery at the time and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Mike was very welcoming and made great wine suggestions. My husband and I both enjoyed a flight on their patio and left with a bottle. We’d absolutely come back.
We had a delightful tasting here! Mike was so great to talk with as he lead us through the wines. It’s a beautiful place with wonderful wines.
We came here for the CVWF. Great experience and the owner Mike is definitely very enthusiastic about wines.
Didn’t get chance to taste their estate Pinot Noir but would definitely try to come back one day.
Phenomenal experience, Mike gave us an excellent wine tour and is one of the most passionate business owners l met on the island. Highly recommended!!
Incredible wines, humble owners and a low key environment
I didn't know how much I needed a stay at Emandare Vineyard's Tractor Shed Guesthouse until I was there! Beautiful property & views, quiet, comfortable, well-stocked, good sleep experience (frogs croaking from the pond), good wine (haha), great & friendly hosts. You're out in the country, but still very close to town. It was good for my soul. Highly recommend.
Travelling the Island with friends, we wanted to visit one of the wineries and Emandare Vineyard was the best choice! Mike, the owner, is very knowledgeable and passionate about wine. The place he and his family created is amazing!

Great local winery! Owner was knowledgeable and super passionate about the wines.
An absolute MUST visit on your trip to the Island or Cowichan Valley area. We tried the wine at a restaurant on the island & immediately began looking up the location of the vineyard. Well worth the stop in. We tasted all available wines & the story of how the winery came to be is awesome :) 10/10 would recommend, will definitely return when in the area next, and only wish that we could have purchased more bottles!
We came up island for our bachelorette weekend in Cowichan to visit some wineries. Stopping by Emandare Vineyard we were greeted by Mike in the store front.Mike was super knowledgeable and you can tell just how passionate he is about his product. His stories and descriptions of his products are in depth, and his tastings are super enjoyable if you want to understand the process of each wine. The property is beautiful and the outdoor seating is lovely if you have a smaller group. One of my favorite wineries we visited by far!

It was a honour at the same table with the wine maker, Mike. I learnt a lot from him and great story from the winery
Wonderful experience!! Would highly recommend it! Went for a taste and signed up for a membership as well as taking home bottles to enjoy?
Great wine and beautiful spot. Clearly the family is very passionate about what they do. Super friendly people. Rose was a big hit with us -- not too sweet = YUM.Definitely a hidden gem in Duncan!
