Loved that they understand hospitality and while preparing for a seminar I needed a place to work on my laptop and was given the space: no purchase required. That’s RARE in this world! Visit them!

Heritage Indian Cuisine in Duncan appears to deliver a satisfying dining experience, with positive attributes across ambiance, food variety, service, and pricing.
Heritage Indian Cuisine is a great restuarnt to visit if you enjoy Indian Food. Dish sizes are great and one dish can often feed two people. I enjoy coming here. The service can be a bit lacking and slow sometimes, however the staff are relatively pleasant.
Yum yum yum! Such a great gem in this town. Very authentic.

Their food is exceptionally delicious! We always get the mango chicken and the coconut beef with rice and naan. Every bite is so good.Vegetarian options: Gluten and dairy free options.
We enjoyed a great meal here last night. The dining area was bright, clean and inviting, and the service was spot on. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The food came out fast and we enjoyed every bite. Lots of chicken, beef, lamb, seafood and vegetarian options. Some of the best Indian cuisine in

Blah food. Unfriendly service. This restaurant may have seen better days, but it's not worth spending money there now. Sorry, that seems harsh, but I was not greeted with a smile or any friendliness. And the food was insipid. Actually, the steamed rice was OK. But the rest was just blah. Overcooked prawns, chicken and lamb. There's another Indian restaurant in the area which is wonderful. Look, do yourself a favour, and skip Heritage. It must have been better once, but no more.

Insipid, overcooked food. The best thing I can say is that the steamed rice was OK. The tandoori platter should have been a showcase of their talent, but was just a heap of overcooked prawns, chicken and lamb. There was a tomato sauce that wasn't far off Hunt's tins. As for service, no smiles, no friendliness. There is a good Indian restaurant close to downtown Duncan, so give Heritage a pass and go there instead.
Used to come here a lot, and really enjoy the quality and spices used.Yesterday was bland, Korma tasted like the sauce came out of a Wallmart jar, and chicken was hard and chewy…Maybe under new management?Disappointing.

Some of the best Indian cuisine in Duncan. Good Vegetarian options.Update August 2023: AGAIN: Impossible to place an order for pick up again. I don't know what's going on with their staff but everytime I call they don't even respond they just hang up on me. They cared enough to invite me back for a better experience the first time but not the last times, I don't think I'll be back.

We love the food! It's our go to take out place when visiting the Cowichan valley. I'd recommend ordering online or by phone, to avoid a long wait for pick up. The place is nothing special as far as dining in experience. You can be in your construction clothes and be comfortable to eat there. Food it good.
