Nice atmosphere. They have an upstairs but didn't go up there. I always like whan an establishment features local artist's work.I had the Dunkin Dunkle, I was surprisingly light like a lager but malty like a porter.The food was good. The service was good.

The food here is consistently terrible. I keep hoping it will be different as it has a nice atmosphere. The food is not fresh; more like pub food cooked from frozen. The cocktails are bad.

This is from a couple of years ago but just wanted to point out that we were rudely told to leave because one of us was not able to wear a mask. Even though it was illegal to refuse our exemption they chose to do it anyway. Will never return and wanted to give others the heads up of what kind of business it is.

Quesadilla was disappointing. Tortilla was dry and crusty and crumbled when I tried to eat it .Fish tacos looked great!
$33 for a steak that claims to be 7oz. I'd pay $15 for it. Super over priced. The server didn't tell us her name but I had a feeling she was new. You can do better but no harm no foul there. The place was nice and well kept.

Waited over an hour for our food and when we asked about it, the waitress said there was a large crowd tonight and we would need to wait another 20 to 25 minutes. We could not wait as we were going to the theatre and said we would have to get it to go. We got our food for no charge after we suggested it but we should have been told that there was a very long waiting period to get any food. Not a good experience!

I was visiting friends in Duncan and my friends were excited to take me out for lunch. The restaurant was pleasant and clean. Unfortunately the food was a great disappointment. Two of us ordered fish tacos and one of us had a hamburger. I’ve eaten fish tacos numerous times and was happy to see them on the menu. When they arrived I did not like the look of the “cod”, I took one bite and that was it. My friend did it like hers either but ate what she could, I sent mine back and ordered a hamburger as a substitute. When the bill came, we were charged for 1/2 of my fish taco. My friend also explained to our waitress that the fish was terrible, she asked my friend if she new what cod looks like. This was not a good piece of cod. It appeared to come from the tail end of a fish of some sort. Sadly the fish did not resemble cod at all. My friends live in Duncan and will not be returning to Just Jake’s.
