If you are looking for fresh salsa, home made corn tortillas and big flavour then head on over. It's not easy to find real Mexican flavour on the island. Made in Mexico is a real gem in the Cowichan Valley.

Mexican food is hands down a favourite - and We have basically tried every taco shop on the Island and beyond from here to Mexico and this spot is an absolute Game changer.My wife and I stopped in tonight and it blew our mind- the pork belly Carnitas and Brisket tacos where the best we have had - legit the best-We now get it - the simplicity of actual flavour needs very little in terms of accompaniments and these guys are putting together something special unlike anything we have had in Victoria-The bright colours will be calling our names off the highway every trip up island - the staff where great, and the atmosphere perfect for levelled up authentic tacos roadside-so excited we have this spot now on the south Island. And they have The bottled Mexican coke and sodas- everything was so on point.

It was great to stop here with the family to eat some Mexican food, all my family members where super happy there.Tha ks for the great service

Very pleased. I've always liked their food, but there's not a lot of Mexican food in the area, so not much to compare to. I took a friend from Southern California there to get his opinion, which was that Made in Mexico does as well as he's used to in Santa Barbara, so that scores with me. And of course the people are great.

Saw this place as I was shopping nearby. It spoke to me - bright vibrant colours, authentic white plastic chairs - cacti in the planters. On a 30 degree plus day in Duncan it seemed like I had landed in Mexico. And the food and service did not disappoint. Fantastic tacos - everything from scratch. (Except the tortillas but that’s fair enough!). Service was charming, friendly and fast. I will absolutely be returning!! Can’t wait.

Very dry meat, no flavour. Way over priced. Much better places to have Mexican than here.
