The pub was clean and a few TV playing sports and keno. Cue up a game on their pool tables. Upcoming trivia night in Oct. The pub is very busy in the evenings and offers take out. Sit indoors or out on the patio.

Really delicious food and quality service! This place is amazing. Despite there only being one waitress on duty, our food came out pretty quick and she kept our drinks refilled. The pesto chicken pasta was soooo good, and oh my gosh, you have to try the peanut butter cheesecake! Great atmosphere too.

The bar eas nice we felt totally uncomfortable ans unwelcome. My husband and and I were only people.there we were trying to have a great day.we put money in the juke box asked to hear it was nor possible. WHAT happened to service we would have spent lots money left after 1 drink .Because we were older were treated like 2nd class citizens. Heard him whining about no staff .If you don't want to be there then stay home this is not hospitality.

If you are travelling north from Victoria up Vancouver Island, Duncan is maybe not the place that you might normally consider stopping for a meal. However, our son and daughter in law took us to The Old Fork on our recent visit and it was highly enjoyable. The menu was very varied and the food excellent. Service was very prompt and the staff very friendly . I would highly receommend this and I'd go back again without any hesitation.

We were in the event room at the hotel. The food was good...cooking for large groups has its challenged but they nailed it. Not sure if it the same kitchen as the Bar and Grill. The staff were great.

We’re new to the area so relied on the web to help make our choice. webpage menu was easy to read on a phone or tablet, pictures are good & accurate. The staff are very pleasant & helpful! They checked back with us during our visit to make sure we had all we needed, including coffee & water refills. (Not so often as to be annoying). The meal was huge & delicious! We had the “Frito Bandito Burrito”. It was very crispy & stuffed full, the potatoes chunks were fried nicely also. They have a good house salsa sauce & also have Frank’s Red Hot sauce (my favourite) & ketchup. I brought my leftovers home to eat later for dinner. Note: also noticed there is a sign up clearly saying everyone is welcome.

The chef is great, creative and the food is always good. The staff are friendly and attentive. The management allows the chef to create so things like salad dressing change up. It is nice to have new selections and have management believe in their staff and think out side the box.

The recipes are vastly better and more creative than when we went before, a while back, and they're far better prepared. We had a tasty brunch that our group all liked. The waitperson mentioned that the eggs are free range and that they and the sausages and maybe other ingredients are locally sourced and super fresh. I'd give it a five but for the kind of gloomy decor. By the way, by law no one gets in without proof of vaccination, and the questions regarding COVID don't reflect that.

Acceptable burger. Salad was nice I enjoyed the dressing. My husband had eggs, meat was tasty. Service was ok. We had to flag the waitstaff down for a second cup of coffee. You will makes folks happy by making more frequent rounds with the coffee! Another big complaint: we saw three waitstaff wearing masks only to cover the mouth. Pull those up over the nose!! This wear the virus lives in the nose! Won't be back
