Cold food served (appy). No service to check on us, we ended up finishing our other two appys and then approaching the till to pay, as we didn’t get any service while eating. Tried again another time, and again bad service, had to go get our own menus. Would not recommend this pub. Thx.

Just a great little family friendly Ship Shaped Restaurant(I always find yummy food here) and Pub with full on Nautical theme is pretty great for M.Bay. Outdoor Patio is nice to sit right next to the Marina and is a good boat watchers paradise. Their very popular deck gets hot these days.

Servers were very friendly. But this is my second time eating here. Thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt after my first experience. Sadly won’t be returning. More expensive than Vancouver for very basic fried food.

Enjoyed the ship-type building and the view of the marina. The chowder was good plus the focaccia bread.

Cool spot - glad to see it’s still in business. Chicken wings are great and fish and chips solid. Love the nautical interior and a nice patio for the hot day we were there

Probably without a doubt the worst meal we have ever had.
Wings were very undercooked, not edible, my husband ate 3, that was it.
Other parts of our meal were very over-cooked.
Fries were hard, as if they had been cooked, and then re-cooked.
Mentioned this to our server, she said Oh! We are known for our fries (Seriously doubt this.)
And! We paid for the full meal and left a tip.... not sure why!
Won't be back!!

The food is average. Burgers and fish and chips are ok. Have tried several of their wraps (thai and ceasar) both of them tasteless . The setting is good and usually the service is ok. Can't really recommend because of very average to not good food.

friendly pub @ times, not always , seems like one server has a bit of an attitude, i told the waitress that the drinks were twice as much as another pub & she said i should go there, i shall & did, very heavy set barmaid with a huge attitude

Friends recommended the Shipyard. It didn't disappoint. The halibut was outstanding.

Location is right on the marina. I ordered the seafood chowder and was not impressed. There were chunks of undissolved flour and oddly it didn’t have enough salt. Weird for seafood chowder, right? The previous food reviews were misleading but then again I only had chowder.

Lovely old building. Drinks range was good with nice looking cocktails. Food was good but not exceptional. We were the only diners inside at 17.15 till closing time at 20.00 so was quiet rather than bustling atmosphere.
