I loved it here! The food was absolutely delicious. I got the sweet barbecue riblets alongside mashed potatoes. The food took a reasonable time and was absolutely delicious. The staff were super kind and accommodating, allowing us to move inside when bees started trying to get my food. They were all so sweet! Would definitely go here again if given the chance.

I stopped in for a quick lunch and had the mushroom burger. The burger was well cooked but didn’t have a lot of taste leading me to believe it was commercial premade and there weren’t a lot of mushrooms on the burger. Other than that it was a lovely stop which I will try again but maybe something else on the menu… stay tuned.

Great place, friendly staff and nice atmosphere! The food was delicious! I had a tuna poke bowl and it was extremely good! My boyfriend has the brisket and that was super good as well, in the past I tried the mussels and those were really good too! Well cooked and flavourful. I will definitely be returning soon!

Traditional pub, nothing fancy, great food and staff that makes you feel welcome. Lots of room if you were looking for a bigger group setting. It's a regular visit when we're heading through Duncan.

An amazing place to have a lunch or dinner, speedy service, reasonable prices for the food, very friendly staff. If I had pictures I’d post them but I don’t… So what are you waiting for ? Go already! It’s worth it!
I had an experience on a oilers playoff game night. Where I sat at the bar as a solo with my demographic ( a couple of older gents) and we were quiet engrossed with the game yet it seemed to me though

Love this place. Beautiful old pub style building, service was good and the food was excellent. Lots of options on the menu and I’ve tried a few. Chicken Brie burger, beet salad, lettuce wraps and all were delicious. Will definitely be a regular haunt for me.

I hate leaving a bad review but I hope it inspires change. We sat with a large group that had made reservations for a bunch of tables well in advance. Each table was given one menu to share between 6+ people, cutlery was not wrapped but instead given to us in a box with some napkins. We stayed for 3 hours, it took 45 minutes to get our one and only drink, another 45 minutes to order our food, and we sat with empty plates and dishes infront of us for over half an hour. The food was decent and the oak has one of the best outdoor patios I've been to in a long time, the servers where nice and polite however something caused the actual service to be unbearably slow, if it wasn't for the special occasion bringing us there I would have left some cash on the table to cover our drinks and dined elsewhere.
