Service was prompt, food was fast and delicious. It was exactly what I wanted for a late Saturday brunch! The place is huge so it's not cramped and loud like a lot of places. I'm sure they'd like it full all the time but it was great for my neuro-spicy self ! Definitely plan to come back!

It was a risk, but a risk that paid off: we were headed to Boston Pizza for lunch, but thought that York St. Diner could possibly be tastier....and it was! My daughter and I shared a wonderful Reuben Sandwich and poutine: the gravy was rich and flavorful and the cheese curds large and squeaky. My son-in-law said his veggie burger was one of the best he'd ever had and the coffee was very good. Karina, our waitress was a star. All in all, a very positive experience.
ordered the chicken ceasar wrap it is what i always get sometimes with fries or a ceasar salad. it is always good and well made. fast service even when busy. i would highly recommend this place to anyone coming through duncan and looking for a place to eat

Been a regular for quite a while now, and this place used to be so delicious. Unfortunately it feels like the quality of the food has gone down for the price. The poached eggs often have a vinegar aftertaste, and the hollandaise seems bitter. The front of house staff are very nice and it's been a pleasure to come back to them time and time again especially Kristy and Mark, but the food doesn't really seem to justify the price anymore.
