Hot chicken Sando has changed so many times it’s not even worth getting anymore. It used to be amazing a few years ago… even my 2-3 year old Snapchat memories show it looking/tasting way different and better. The pickles are worse. The sauce is different and worse. It just keeps getting worse every few months. I don’t get it. Why change a good thing?!! It was PERFECT a few years ago, I bet I’ve eaten 100+ of them and now can barely finish one. Pretty sad.

Ordered the west coast burger which was interesting. Never tried an impossible burger and the carrots and sauce on it were good. The fries were okay, I was expecting a lot more flavour but it just tasted like a vinegary fry, no other seasonings. The cauliflower bites were delicious! I could eat those every single day! Loved that they were topped with a Kewpie mayo to bring down the spice level and finish it with cilantro for a vibrant flavour!

Loved the food but absoulutly peaved about the auto gratuity of 20 percent for tables of 4. We all asked for individual bills and tipped 20 percent or more as no one pointed this out ... Not cool and basically ripped off pateoms.. I was telling wveryone about how great this place was .. That will be the end of my recomendations .. That is as good as scamming your clients .. Exceptionally disappointed in server and management should remove that feature immediatlly..
Serving staff was pleasantly attentive and efficient without being intrusive. Grilled chicken sando was probably the most perfectly cooked chicken sandwich I’ve had in my life…. And I’m old. I’ve heard the salad is amazing, but at this stage, fries all the way. Crispy, but tender. Like me. Naturally vinegar is my preferred condiment for French fries, and the white stuff did not disappoint. A dry Rosé from the okanagan complemented the juicy chicken. For dessert My son said the Ube Cheesecake was divine… however I need my potassium, so we shared the Turon & Ice cream dessert special. Featuring fried bananas, brown sugar rolls, caramel sauce on the iced cream and sesame seeds ( toasted in-house ). Nicely presented and frickin delicious… if however they could offer a flambé option I would have gone for it!! Kudos to the Bistro crew. We’ll be back.
We were tired after a long day of cleaning, packing and helping getting the kids ready for the next chapter of their lives. None of us felt like cooking, all of us just wanted to eat and decompress. We went to the Blend Bistro and thanks to the cheerful staff and excellent food, our picky kids and us did just that, we decompressed and found ourselves laughing and relaxing for the first time this week. Thank you for the excellent service and food.
Vegetarian options: This is where the picky comes in. I have one grandchild who doesn't like meats. The Westy Burger suits him great. The salads there have a really great dressing, a sesame dressing I think.

Kayla our server the last three times had made us wait super long in between drinks/food before offering anything else to us. I’d love to give a better review but I’m super disappointed in the service… there lovely server/bartender that has a lot of tattoos has always been great and love her but Kayla is very slow and passes our table multiple times every time we go in..
