We had reservations for 8pm and ending up having to wait for a table to clear for about 15 minutes, which was alright, we understand. But the food was very bland. Not really worth your money. We had ordered the chicken and salmon dish and ended up only taking a few bites. The chicken was too salty and the salmon was very tasteless, no flavor đ. But server was great. Just not worth our experience.
Bread was good nice and warm. Salad was good. They were out of almost all their wines and kept pushing ones higher than our price point. âWine shipment coming tomorrow â We ordered the Elk and the lamb and specifically asked for medium rare. Both were welllll done. The elk came with a mushroom/bread side which was burnt. After the wine fiasco I didn't want to send back. But was disappointed
Good recommendation from the server, very nice. Food was delicious, good combination of different flavors, took the duck and was very tasty. Choice of drinks are considerable and a nice dessert menu. Would recommend.
A beautiful restaurant in Emerald lake! We had the atlantic salmon and beef tenderloin. Our meals were delicious a very well presented. Dessert was warm peach galette with ice cream it was good, the galette was a bit hard to cut and had simple taste. There are many other options for dessert though! We had a table by the window with the view on the lake. It was a perfect evening! Thank you Mount Burgess for the excellent service!
This is the âtopâ dining room at the Emerald Lake Lodge. The Lodge positions this restaurant as âfine diningâ however it really isn't. Instead it is a typical hotel restaurant that is expensive. Hostess staff undertrained as my wife and I were told all window tables were taken and they wanted to put us at a lousy location for two in the restaurant. We had to escalate to the manager who then gave us a nice table. We also note that other window tables were open through-out our dining experience. The food is just a âB.â Some good dishes and some disappointing ones. If were to go back I would dine in their regular restaurant that is considerably less expensive and just as good (as we dined there the first night of a two night stay).
The location is amazing, waitress was perfect, ambience is great, the food was mediocre for the price.
The service and view were excellent but unfortunately the food was not. Fish and streaks were over cooked, presentation was just ok, prices were very high. Cocktails were hit or miss. If you are staying at ELLodge then it's a solid option but if you are driving in from elsewhere, it's likely not worth the drive.
Such a lovely place to have your breakfast. The food is great, will fill your heart out!! The servers are very delightful and attentive. No need to call as they visit you from time to time to check if you need anything without bothering. Good job!
Service was exceptional. Atmosphere was great. Food was amazing. Overall such wonderful experience.

Amazing experience at this restuarant we went for three meals in total during our stay one breakfast, one lunch and a dinner. Then we got breakfast for take out on our last day. The staff was very polite and professional. The food was outstanding as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
It was a significant bday for my wife , and in advance they asked about any special occasions. They said they would provide something like cake and candle, which they didn't. And I had asked for Lakeview quieter table and we did get Lakeview , but beside the servers station . Good good , server great ... but disappointed in a few of the commitments not followed thru on.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The lodge itself is very nice and the staff and servers were pleasant, attentive, and helpful. We were disappointed with the food and the cocktail list. The food menu needs a serious overhaul and simply does not reflect the quality we would expect from a place like this. We had the scallops, the bison steak, and the chicken. The scallops were cooked well and were definitely the best dish. The bison steak was fine, but lacked any flare and seemed to have been seasoned using montreal steak spice out of a jar. It was cooked more or less correct. The chicken dish has apparently been on the menu for twenty years and it is long since time to retire it for something more interesting. The cocktail menu needs to be done again from scratch. It simply made no sense... there were a number of flavours that worked together and then some weird ingredient thrown in that did not fit and lowered the quality. We understand that sourcing of ingredients and supplies is probably more difficult, but the combinations just didn't work and seemed forced. The bartender did do a great off - menu cocktail.
The soup of the day was maybe the best soup we have ever had. Service was excellence and the ambiance was superb.
The quality of the dinner and service was more than we expected. We tried salmon and duck breast and we enjoyed every single bite!
