What a great place to stay!
was looking for a reasonable place to stay while chasing the CPKC Christmas Train in the Rockies, and this ticked every box. Room was fantastic, the views unmatched, had a excellent nights sleep with the fresh mountain air. Will definitely be back soon

Honestly, my stop at Truffle Pigs Lodge was very last minute and what a wonderful suprise. The room are very clean, with local products, super comfy (feeling like home), and with a beautiful view on the mountains. It's worth it :).
Thanks for the warm welcome!

Always great food, service and experience! The bistro has been a favourite of my family for years - both in the old location as well as in the current location. The menu and quality of the food and service never disappoint.
Recently, my mom and I needed a place to stay on our trip through the Rockies, and were so excited to have the opportunity to book a room here for the night. Although we had high expectations, we were still surprised by the attention to detail at every turn. From the in-floor heating to Truffle Pigs chocolates left for us to the quirky and candid voice used in the in-room communications, every little piece just elevated the experience further. Other "little" things that we noticed as we went, that really made our stay special:
-the instructions and setup that prepared us for a potential power outage
-the deep bathtub!
-the Hog Wash soap in the bathroom
-the colour scheme and textures of the fabrics chosen throughout
Our stay was on October 26. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Bistro. We would recommend both to anyone!

We stopped at Truffle Pigs Bistro for lunch; what a surprise! Looked at the menu, the prices are “Yikes” and the selection is “WTF”. Beet Salad, Gochujang Bao, Tuna Tataki, Duck Confit, Trout, Cobb Salad, Galbi Korean Ribs..? “A Bistro”..!
IF you want normal food at a reasonable price DON’T come here. I have no idea who would eat this garbage, [purple veggie burger] never mind pay the ridiculous prices, [$42 for a steak sandwich; $29 for a beef burger], and the kids menu is a joke! We just wanted lunch but we turned around and left.
From main course to dessert, we enjoyed ourselves in this superb restaurant.
We found the French touch in this cuisine with a chef from France as well as several of his waitresses, very friendly by the way.
The dishes are hearty and vegan options are available, even for dessert!
I highly recommend this place for dining.

Great spot for dinner in this little town surrounded by beautiful mountains. Really enjoyed the Duck dish—though it sure quacked me up at first! Delicious and definitely worth the drive.

A great stop for food when visiting the YOHO park and nearby Emerald lake.
We had the pork belly nachoes that were great.
Steak sandwich, chicken rice bowl, pork with Spatzle and the Korean ribs. All good
