Very nice. Ate takeout as we had dogs with us. Very friendly staff.

Seated at a 2 top in a barely half full restaurant with what appeared to be a manager and 4 servers staffing. Left after waiting more than 10 minutes with no acknowledgment or inquiry of drink order. Abysmal service.

My apologies for the mix-up! Truffle Pigs Bistro in Field, BC, is a delightful find in this pint-sized town. The Big Rig Burger is a juicy, flavor-packed champ, with Canadian bacon and Applewood cheddar stealing the show. The fish tacos? Absolutely excellent—crisp, fresh, and zesty, they’re a seaside dream in the mountains. Tucked in quirky Yoho National Park with flying pig charm, this spot’s a must-visit, even if your wallet whimpers a bit.

What a great place to stay!
was looking for a reasonable place to stay while chasing the CPKC Christmas Train in the Rockies, and this ticked every box. Room was fantastic, the views unmatched, had a excellent nights sleep with the fresh mountain air. Will definitely be back soon

Honestly, my stop at Truffle Pigs Lodge was very last minute and what a wonderful suprise. The room are very clean, with local products, super comfy (feeling like home), and with a beautiful view on the mountains. It's worth it :).
Thanks for the warm welcome!

Always great food, service and experience! The bistro has been a favourite of my family for years - both in the old location as well as in the current location. The menu and quality of the food and service never disappoint.

Recently, my mom and I needed a place to stay on our trip through the Rockies, and were so excited to have the opportunity to book a room here for the night. Although we had high expectations, we were still surprised by the attention to detail at every turn. From the in-floor heating to Truffle Pigs chocolates left for us to the quirky and candid voice used in the in-room communications, every little piece just elevated the experience further. Other "little" things that we noticed as we went, that really made our stay special:
-the instructions and setup that prepared us for a potential power outage
-the deep bathtub!
-the Hog Wash soap in the bathroom
-the colour scheme and textures of the fabrics chosen throughout

Our stay was on October 26. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Bistro. We would recommend both to anyone!
