Ordered delivery super donair , had extra meat and extra sauce to the point where my donair fell apart lol but the taste was great ! 😊

I’ve been to Hashtag Donair before and found it pretty average—not the best, not the worst, but decent enough for the price. That’s why I decided to come back and ordered my usual chicken platter with extra chicken, which came to $19.95.

Unfortunately, this time the food was well below average. It was extremely salty, so much so that I had to drink three glasses of water just to get through my meal. I even had my wife try it, and she agreed it was far too salty. She told me to throw it out, but after paying $20, I forced myself to finish it.

I called the store to let them know and suggest they taste the chicken themselves. They did answer, but simply said “that’s how it’s prepared.” I have eaten here 3 times before and never had an issue with the salt level.

Sadly, this experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning again.

We ordered takeaway and noticed a few things. The chicken donair had noticeably less meat and more veggies compared to the lamb donair, which was much better balanced.

The sauces didn’t have that authentic Mediterranean taste — they leaned more toward a sour profile. The hummus was quite bland, unfortunately. On a positive note, the rice was flavorful, and the falafel was unique — not the typical kind you usually get.

Overall, while there are hints of Mediterranean flavor, it doesn’t quite hit the mark. There’s definitely room for improvement, but it’s a decent effort. 👍🏽

I really love coming to this place, but food safety is a really big concern for me, girl went to throw out garbage, came back didn’t bother washing her hands, just went out on gloves with her bacteria hands, squeezing the gloves not giving a damn, not sure if I will be back, as I usually go there two times a week

My order was double chicken platter. Overall, very average and not super amazing. The chicken is good, But it is most definitely not your typical Middle Eastern or Greek Chicken, you would find in a Donair Or platter. I do find the chicken throws off the taste of this overall meal. I also dislike the fact they pre-cut the chicken and stored in a warmer, This takes away those yummy pieces of crispy Donair chicken that comes straight off the flat top. The tzatziki is very bland as well as the hummus And the taste of the chicken overpowers any type of sauce with the spice blend they use. Typically, I’m a big Donair and Shawarma fan But this was a one in done for me. Nice enough establishment and staff it’s just the food overall wasn’t that great.

Wowza their fries blew me away, so hot and tasty. Mixed meat donair and sauces were good. Below average selection of drinks. A bit pricey for the combo but delicious!
