Tradish save the day for us! I was planning a community event and two days before the event our original caterer cancelled on us due to unforeseen circumstances. Having heard about Sarah and Tradish from community partners I rushed to contact them about the possibility of catering our event with less than 48 hours to prepare. Sarah was a rock star. She kindly agreed to take on the challenge and prepared the most delicious food for the event. The Bannock, chili, and all the add-ons were delicious and a huge hit for the community. We will certainly be partnering with Tradish for future events. Thank you Sarah for sharing your gift with us and for saving our event!

Sarah and her team were absolutely fantastic in catering a community event for us at the last minute. The selection for 50 attendees was excellent, the food was fresh and well presented and the bannock was outstanding. Sarah is was very accommodating for our event needs and budget. Highly recommended!

The bannock was soooo good! Fresh and hot, and I loved the jam as well. They were busy with something else, so it took a little time, but the server came out and apologized to me and gave me a free lemonade to make up for the wait.
So nice to sit out and enjoy a delicious treat.

I was welcomed into the fort with open arms, and treated as family for my stay. The drinks were cold, the atmosphere was warm, and the food was hot. Will most definitely be going back

The Chef and her family made us feel so welcome.
The food is freshly cooked. Gotta try the bison bannock tacos.
And the raspberry dandelion lemonade is the best I have ever had.
Andi took home some the plant medicine jam. Everyone at home just loved the jam.

I would improve portions and display olof food/plates.. especially the price is about 3-5 too much for entree and portion with today's prices and quality is about $15. MY Bannock was hard and stale and the bacon too crispy and burnt to eat and had to leave the food. Not enough to even share an entree with my toddler. Next time we will pack sandwiches for spending the day there. Not ideal. Post customer. Need more shop merchandise on sale visibly and not hidden. Try mimicking Boomtown cafe in Sk to improve experience. Feed the masses please.
Give more to get more traffic. Some lemonades were incredibly tasty. Sample of jerky would be great, baked goods of the day, etc.

Luckily it was free entry into the fort, I've been wanting to try Bannock for some time! It was delicious! The jam was unreal! Great healing combinations, the lemonade was great! Pear Camomile Jam, really good! The Blackberry Sage Lemonade was really refreshing!

We had the pleasure of working with Tradish’s The Ancestor Cafe for a recent catering event, and we couldn't be more impressed. The bannock and house-made jams were absolutely outstanding – rich in flavour, beautifully presented, and truly the star of the show. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them!
Working with Chef Sarah was an absolute delight. She brought not only her culinary expertise but also warmth, professionalism, and deep cultural care to the experience. Her passion for the food and its roots was evident in every bite.
We’re incredibly grateful for the partnership and look forward to many more opportunities to work with The Ancestor Cafe again in the future. Highly recommended!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Tradish: The Ancestor Café for the past two years at our corporate events, and every experience has been outstanding. Sarah’s bannock is hands-down the freshest and most delicious I’ve ever tasted—perfectly soft, flavourful, and made with such care. Her jams are just as impressive: low in sugar, free from additives, and bursting with natural fruit flavour. They’re nourishing, wholesome, and utterly delicious.
I’ve also purchased her products as personal gifts for friends and family—everyone who’s received them has been delighted. They’re the kind of thoughtful, high-quality offerings that people remember.
What truly sets Tradish apart, though, is Sarah herself. She is a force—strong, grounded, kind, and deeply committed to her craft. She brings not only incredible food, but also cultural integrity, generosity, and authenticity to everything she does. She takes pride in sharing traditional Indigenous foods in a way that honours their roots while making them accessible and welcoming to all.
Partnering with Sarah and Tradish brings so much more than just catering—it brings connection, meaning, and care. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Tradish is one of my favorite places to go especially with family or friends. The atmosphere takes me home as ii walk in the forested area of Fort Langley Historic park then into the wooden Tradish building. I absolutely love the coffee, the juices with herbs make me feel so good. The food is the best with Traditional fried bread best I’ve ever had!! The traditional chili with bison or yam I loved !!! I can’t wait to try their breakfast and more deserts on my next visit. So glad I have a place like this to go and enjoys what a treat!! The staff is always so friendly and sweet and that goes a long way with me these days !! A place I want to return. Thank you Tradish !!

Amazing! Everything is amazing. Our families favorite is the jams! Every year for Mother’s Day (and throughout the year) I treat my mom to a couple jars, she has a very specific diet and these jams are so amazing and so yummy they are one of her favorite treats! It’s become a tradition.
Thank you Sarah and the Ancestors Cafe!
