Stopped by to pick up some of their fabulous plant medicine jams. We ordered a bison cabbage roll soup and bannock to go, 3 jams, 1 bannock and butter and 1 bannock with blueberry lavender jam. Everything was delicious ?!!

I ordered the bison and bannock at the food truck in East Van today, but what I got was a tex-mex chili with a few chunks of ground bison on bannock and a crazy handful of spring mix on the top. The bannock was good, but I wouldn't recommend this specific item as it was $23 and a big L for me. I'd suggest doing a pulled bison over ground bison and maybe change the flavor from tex-mex to spices used within the culture (rosemary, juniper, sage, sweetgrass, etc).
Edit/response: Thank you. I am aware of the three sisters, as I am Métis, but kidney beans (Peruvian), corn, and what I assumed was mushy squash chunks, and whatever spices used gave tex mex... for example, it was served with hotsauce, sour cream, and a handful of spring mix. I appreciate the offer to come in and eat something else, but I respectfully decline as I just don't think what you serve is up to my standards of dining. Best of luck to you.

The most delicious bannock! I also had an iced latte with a raspberry dandelion medicine shot. So good. I will go back to the fort just so I can go here again.

Super friendly owner and staff, such an amazing story in the news about their opening. The bannock was so delicious I drove 45 minutes to come to this place. Lemonade had a nice strong lemon taste not too sweet. Keep in mind this location is IN the fort right now so you have to pay entrance fee to visit this cafe. I look forward to visiting again!

Unfortunately, we seem to have caught them at a bad time. We ordered 3 tacos and 3 lemonade. It took us close to 1/2 hour to get our food, even though they had no other orders they were serving at that time. Our bill with the tip was $93. I may not have provided a 20% tip, but you pay when you order so you tip out of courtesy, not knowing the type of service you may receive. Also, while we were sitting and waiting, other visitors to the Fort came in. The person responsible for the till had gone in the back and, since there was no one at the till, these visitors waited a few minutes and then left. The food was good although the portions on the vegetarian tacos were small. I will try them again when they've had a chance to gain some experience. But I do hope the service and the portion sizes improve.

I visited the fort and this cafe was without a doubt the highlight! Amazing menu, their specialty coffees are outrageously good and the atmosphere is so cozy. There are some amazing products for sale including the beautiful wall art. I cant wait to return.

Bannock is top notch ? I'm so obsessed with the Smokey Cherry Juniper Jam that I bought an entire jar. We've now come all the way from Richmond TWICE just for Tradish's Bannock and jam!

Went to Fort Langley historic site specifically to visit this cafe, though the fort was a fun bonus. We were there close to closing (about 30min prior to) so had the place to ourself. I ordered Bannock with raspberry dandelion jam and raspberry lavendar lemonade. It was delicious! The cafe itself features vibrant art and little dried lavender sprigs on the tables. If we are back this way, I'd stop again and try the elk tacos I think.
