I had an uncomfortable experience during my visit. The staff was ready to take my order, but the supervisor named Ana kept loudly telling them, “The customer is there, take the order,” even though they were already doing their job. It felt unnecessary and awkward.
To make things worse, loud music was playing, and the supervisor was singing along, which made the atmosphere feel unprofessional and distracting. The way the supervisor treated the staff in front of customers was not respectful.
Overall, the whole experience felt uncomfortable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving professionalism.

Worst A&W I’ve ever visited entirely due to the awful customer service.
The girl at the front counter had an unbelievable amount of attitude, as if she owned the place. She spoke to customers in a rude and dismissive tone, with zero friendliness or basic courtesy. I get that working in fast food can be stressful, but that’s not an excuse to treat paying customers like they’re a burden.
It wasn’t just me I watched her interact the same way with every single person in line. No greeting, no smile, no thank you. Just short, snappy responses and an unwelcoming vibe. It completely ruined the experience, and honestly, the food didn’t feel worth it after that.
If this is how they treat customers, I won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone until the staff’s attitude and training improve. I have her photo but don't want to add it here. Managment should look in to this

The bun on the breakfast sandwich at A&W Fort St. John was so dry it could sand down concrete. Eating it felt less like breakfast and more like a punishment. And the Buddy Cheese? A pathetic attempt at a Tim Hortons flatbread knockoff—like getting a participation trophy for mediocre food. Honestly, they should just hand out a survival guide with every order.

Walked into this A&W and thought I’d stepped into a sauna. The kitchen looked like Survivor: Deep Fryer Edition—staff sweating buckets, juggling five jobs each, and no working exhaust in sight. On my way to the restroom, the heat hit me like a jalapeño slap. Honestly, the fries were probably cooking just by sitting out.
No fryer, no assembler—just straight-up chaos. My order was wrong, the wait was long, and the food looked just as tired as the crew. Meanwhile, Supervisor Ana was barking orders like a drill sergeant with a micromanagement kink. Real morale booster.
Hey management—fix the airflow and let your team breathe before customers start bringing their own fans and whistles.

The food is ok. It's just fast food. But to be charged $28 for an uncle burger, poutine and a coke is a ridiculous price! I pay that amount or less for a burger In a real sit down restaurant. I won't be going back just because of the outrageous price.
We had the best breakfast ever today, I highly recommend it, and the service is great as always. 10/10 guys!👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗
Excellent breakfast, I even got a free refill on coffee.
Staff is very friendly and trying their best. My food is always correct and reasonable wait time
