I am older person and social interaction was always taught as a child. Be nice, polite, and it should be both ways. Something that is not always found in the services industry anymore. However a delightful surprise is Denny's here in Fort St John. A delightful place to go, socialize, and of course eat.Our server was one of the most caring and gracious people I've met in my travels across four provinces.It was a great joy to be encouraged to talk to all that worked to create our meal and to the manager.I did meet with the manager and again friendly and the kindest of men. The two people who created/cooked up our lunch very friendly and polite. Lots of smiles in Denny's here is Fort St John.The gravy we had today was unique to say the least. Almost an onion gravy ish, with salt and pepper. I didn't need to add either and to me it wasn't too much of anything simply a good fantastic mix of all three.My meal was simple and I was surprised to find I ate it all. Normally I'm not that enticed to eat restaurant food.Not greasy, not overcooked, not undercook the food was simply fantastic.I would encourage everyone and anyone who goes to Denny's here in Fort St John to ask for Susie the server. She is fantastic and then please tell Freddie how wonderful she is. There are so many complaints out there today.... that good comments alwasy light a heart. Be nice and enjoy.I will eat here again, quite happily by the way.Our meal is not listed below... it was great anyway... My daughter's sandwich she could not finish... we took half on our way out.I'm not sure about the lighting when the night comes. However, I am willing to return and find out for myself... Hopefully I can updeate this review later.Parking: I didn't count the number of parking spots... I had no problem parking my vehicle. It isn't a small car and the parking was very nicely laid out.Kid-friendliness: Just wonderful, our lady server Susie was amazing. She should get a raise. Patient, kind, understanding absolutely everything you hope for when entering an eating establishment. She was simply a super nice, good, wonderful person... Would love to see more servers like Susie. Love the crayons.A wonderful surprise for me. Good service seems to have died... was not expecting such a dynamic person with such a good heart. Overall, it was a really good experience. Our server was prompt and friendly, the food arrived quickly and the portions were generous. My only (minor) issue was that my eggs and hashbrowns were rather greasy, but the pancakes were amazing and that made up for it. Will be back.

Lunch was ok, I noticed the servers do not work together. They don't support each other, they don't clean each other's tables or remove dirty plates from eachothers sections even when walking by the table. Our server seemed really uninterested serving us, didn't talk much and seemed annoyed. Also, I got one single crepe with my breakfast, it cost 8.99! That's insane.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. The staff was very kind a courteous. Despite it being our waitresses first day and a few mistakes on our order, they where quick to fix it and offered a discount on our meal. They where very sweet.
