Best sushi in the whole northern BC. Short staffed so the service wasn't perfect but the food definitely made up for it. 100percent recommend going there.

For unassuming place, but always amazing!! I'm not sure how they do it, but the foods always perfect and the staff are always smiling.

The sushi (mango California roll) was very tasty, no complaints! However the beef bibimbap fell flat. Too many cooked onions and mushrooms, the beef was flavourless and rice was too wet. Kind of a mixed bag!

In one word.... AMAZING!I've eaten sushi at a ton of different establishments, including many along the coastline with fresh fish - and can't remember rolls EVER tasting as good as the FSJ rolls!!The beef plate I had was equally amazing with a TON of aged beef, amazing sauce, fresh cooked but still crispy veggies, and fresh rice served separately in a small bowl to keep it hot (brilliant).Cozy little dine-in with super friendly and attentive staff. I ordered my meal, ate it, paid and was out the door in under an hour at a very busy time.Cash vs food value is five stars! My only complaint is I found this gem on my last day here ?

This is my go to spot in FSJ for delicious and comforting food. I love the tofu stew, the red hot chicken, short rib, and any of the bulgogi, bibimbap, and gimbap options. Excellent place for quality Korean food and staff that make sure your experience is a good one. Hungry Bear is a true gem.Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu and vegetable options on the menu. The tofu stew is the best!

Great food. Wood bench booth seating is hard next time I'll use the table and chairs. Their spicy chicken was tender and delicious.

Meh. Got beef udon soup. It was definitely HOT enough. It was a bit bland. Small beef chunks. It grew on me as I ate it. Maybe I should've gotten something else and udon just doesn't do it for me?The lady apologized for no A/C. That's not a problem for me, but flies buzzing around is kinda a problem. A parking lot cat came in and I pet it. I threw it a piece of beef but he didn't eat it. Hmmm. Also the place was EMPTY. That's always disconcerting. That's a big word, I know. I did get a refill on water. Outstanding. However, at checkout, she had charged me for a soda. Or pop. Whatever you guys call it. She apologized and removed it. You know, if it was SLAMMED, I could see making that mistake. Or I could see not swinging by and asking how it is. "Can I bring you any sauces? Hoisin or sriracha or soy perhaps?" There's something different up here.

Pleasantly surprised at this Korean restaurant in town. The tofu soup was authentic. The pad Thai tasted more like a yakisoba but it was good anyways
