Update, thank you to Heather the manager for reaching out to rectify the problem. I appreciate the conversation and you welcoming us back, as my kids enjoy going there. We came back Oct 18th it was wonderful experience. Thank you to our server Bethany! She was amazing and made sure my kids and I where taken care of and comfortable.
Was there Oct 3rd at 6:30 seated in the family section. Rishav was our waiter he wasn't that greatest however at the end he brought my bill, I told him I was paying cash he kept trying to get me to pay debit. I seen my bill which the actual bill was a different amount and saw what he was doing , he added a 18% tip to the debt machine and trying to get me to pay it. I refused and he argued with me. I said no, its my choice what I tip you. He went and got my change , I still left a tip but not a that big as his service was horrible. To just add the tip of his choosing was not okay. I won't come back because of that.

Pleasantly surprised by the salmon—perfectly cooked, flaky, and not drowned in sauce like some places try to do. Decent portion too. For a hotel restaurant in Fort St. John, Just Jacks holds its own. Chill service, clean space, and way better than you’d expect.

Decided to go here to after recently getting divorced to try and mend my spirits! I got the steak sandwich, it was perfectly cooked and dang good for the price! Service was fast and servers were professional. I guess thanks for leaving me Sarah because I wouldn't have found this place otherwise haha!!

Servers seriously need to wear deodorant. Being served my food with the smell of bad BO is very unpleasant...please talk to your staff about improving personal hygene.

Garlic butter on breakfast toast, more focused on there Italian brunch then they were on there breakfast . Try jam on garlic toast ( unknown to us ) and ZERO compensation offered in Liu of the mistake 😔...also waited a half hour, only two customers in restaurant.

Went here specifically to drink but they didn't have a drink menu and was told they were "Working on it". I asked for any kind of cider they have because that's a go too, they don't serve any variety. I ended up ordering a root beer because she didn't provide any suggestions and I wasn't about to play 20 questions.
Later I noticed that 2 of the 6 (attached) ads on the little stand on the table had some of the drinks on it. Odd this wasn't suggested by the server. I ordered one of the drinks and the server completely disappeared, our food being delivered by a different server.
The food I had was quite good, the fish and chips being a large well cooked piece of fish and a normal portion of fries. Although the friend I was with said the chicken burger had an over toasted bun resembling plastic.
During the food I was finally followed up on my drink, being told they didn't serve it anymore as the promotion has ended. This is quite disappointing, why did they not remove the AD. This drink experience is quite a hassle.

What a fantastic place to eat. Probably the best steak sandwich that I had ever had. The second night I had the club house and that was a home run also.
Service could be a bit quicker as glasses often sat empty for a while. If you were trying to watch the hockey games on the TV’s, the score board was cut off on every TV in there so they probably could be updated. And it looks a bit tacky, their till systems are just mounted on a post in the restaurant and all of the wires are just hanging everywhere, with a bunch of zip ties. Could have easily been done better if they were thinking of appearance.
But that being said, I’m in FSJ again this week and I will be back for supper again. The food here is fantastic and the prices are great too.
