Couldn't get over paying for a club soda that was flat. Literally a glass of water. Told the bartender and got nothing but attitude. Haven't bought a drink there since. Sucks because it's one of the few venues that host live music but even that is always the same old hypnotic, boring songs every week. Its an open mic but you get called out for trying to join the stage. Im over this toxic place. Gabriola needs something new.
Fun Island pub with surprisingly good deep fried food. Staffing is light so be patient as they do hustle. Try the open mic night or patio afternoon!

Extremely rude waitress. She was busy, I told her no rush I could wait. I asked for a Caesar, she said she was too busy for that. I understood, so I asked for a vodka with clamato, she swore and complained. So I left.
