Went to Lola with a friend and it is a MUST for anyone who is visiting the island. The food, drinks, ambiance and staff were all incredible. Better than many of the better restaurants that I’ve been to in big cities throughout Canada and the US. Highly recommend including this spot in your next trip to Galiano.

It’s been a year since we tried Lola’s and when we think about it, it still ranks as the best meal my partner and I have had in Canada. I highly recommend Lola’s. We got the oysters (freshest ones ever), the bread and smoked butter (insane) and the ribs - all so delicious! The best dish however, was the pomelo salad - it was a perfect balance of flavor and I’ve craved it often since we had it.

I am originally from SE Asia so I was pretty blown away by the elevated SE Asian cuisine fused with pacific northwest ingredients that I wasn't expecting on Galiano Island. The clams, salmon and spot prawn we had were delicious but you do need to be able to handle some spice. This rivals the top refined dining Asian restaurants in Vancouver. They did not shy away from bold but well-balanced flavours, and I love the minimalist cozy wood cabin aesthetic of the restaurant with beautiful views that gave it a Galiano feel. This place is sortof under the radar.
Flawless. The location itself is beautiful. I tried almost every dish on their menu and they were all absolutely delicious. Their wine list is small but mighty and the staff is lovely. Went two nights in a row because we wanted to try more of the items on the menu and didn't regret it!This is hands down one of my top 5 restaurants in BC.
Vegetarian options: Tofu with eggplant. Green curry veggie (the best). Pomelo salad...
