Wonderful experience from start to finish. Each dish was exciting and interesting. Really farm to table, with local and seasonal ingredients. The wine pairings were great too. I also loved how the service was friendly, welcoming and casual, but professional. A real west coast vibe, which was exactly what I was hoping for. I'm not a big fan of the old school snooty service that's all formal and proper - glad they're not like that.

Found many small bugs (10+) in the food and poor response by management!! They provided small partial refund for just the food (20%), but underplayed the mistake and swept it under the rug. I told them I felt duped and these are some the responses to note from the owner:
“i would wager that the average human costumes many of those small bugs daily just waking in the woods or jogging or while sleeping.””
“ you should have left after that minor incident if you felt so hurt and “duped” and taken advantage of. Yet you stayed and ate 4 more courses ??????”
This is a well ranked and high end fine dining restaurant. I had hoped for higher quality service and a more meaningful response to their mistake. Other dishes were tasty.

We wanted to finish every last bit of seasoning, broth or sauce. Service was so good. Relaxed but absolutely on top of everything. Wine pairings were all perfect. Loved the purveyors they chose. The atmosphere and setting was perfect. We cannot wait to come back. This will be an annual pilgrimmeage for us. Can’t wait to go back.

Unbelievable experience from top to bottom. Pacing of the courses was great. Service was exceptional, felt casual and light but we always had everything we needed and the evening flowed very well, as a former server I recognize how hard it is to make this look easy!
Food was amazing and I loved how the meal evolved, from the snack courses that used a lot of ferments to the richer savoury courses to the amazing deserts the highlight of which was a tart heaped with shaved hazelnut everything was excellent. Perfect amount of food, I appreciate the suggestion to pack up the pizza course as I think if we ate the whole thing that might have pushed it into too much food territory but with only having half it was a perfect amount.
Wine pairings were great although personally I am not a fan of some of the more funky natural wines that were on offer but still enjoyed what we drank quite a bit as there was enough variation between glasses to keep it interesting.
Overall probably the best dining experience I've had in Canada and one of the best I've had in the world.

after doing a workaway with a nature chef and learning about wild plants, trees, flowers and cooking with them. We want with my partner at the pligrimme with high expectation. We had a dinner that we will remember for a while. We love the atmosphere, lovely servers, open kitchen and the menu was a walk through nature with surprising flavors. Amazing experience, thank you for both chef and all the persons working there
