I come to Galiano for work and stopping by Sturdies Bay Cafe & Bakery is a must for me. It’s my favourite part of my trip. I used to be a baker and when I get to eat fresh and well made food and pastries, I make a point of returning again and again. The strand are super friendly, the atmosphere and music is lively, and the food is made with love. There are other coffee shops around, but done be fooled, this is where you should be!

I enjoyed had an apple fritter, samosa, and sausage roll. All were good. The decaf cafe latte could have been better though. The outdoor seating was nice and had a good amount of shade.

Great coffee drinks and amazing cinnamon buns! Very kind staff that were sweet to our dog as well. There's a nice outdoor area in front of the cafe to enjoy your food + drinks. Definitely worth a stop!

Such a lovely little bakery. Definitely on the expensive side for drinks, but they are definitely worth it!! My friend says their matcha blessed her soul and I got the affogato which was pretty good too! I definitely want to stop by Galiano again just so I can have their amazing drinks and baked goods. Definitely a must visit.

The matcha here is the best matcha I have had in my life! Blessed my soul. Definitely want to come back. Their ice cream and affogato is awesome too. The staff is so sweeeeet :)

Vegetarian options: There are veg baked goods and ice cream. There is a veggie sandwich and a samosas available too from what I remember.

This little bakery is the best bakery I have ever been to. We visit Galiano often and the staff remembers me (and my coffee order!) and they just love my grandson. We go for lunch or breakfast daily when we're there. The food is delicious and the staff make it so much fun.
