If you are looking for a culinary delight this is the place to go. I was very apprehensive because of the tasting menu price, especially in light of the fact that I had no idea what I was going to get. Both my husband and I had one of the most fabulous food experiences of our lives. Everything was perfect. I have an allergy and they made my evening worry free. Food, ambience, service and wine were all exceptional! Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for and the money spent was well worth every penny. We will go back. Thank you Jen for being wonderful.

We helped our niece & nephew celebrate their 5th anniversary here. You do need to call a few weeks in advance to get a table at this seasonal restaurant. The service was impeccable. The appetizers were very good although we did not like the scallops that well (but they were good enough to eat them all !). For mains we had the 2 different pastas and the sturgeon which I thought was the best offering. For dessert we had their homemade ice cream (5 + *****) and the chocolate mouse (4 ****). All in the meal was a bit pricey but for an annual event and given the location we would probably go back.

Overpriced !As a French Cook, Living in Canada since 11 years, I was expecting a decent portion for a 50$ Main.Very Friendly Service, you probably pay for the Service and the Location, food is good, but honestly, it was a Starter's size. The very nice French Server sold me the Dish as it was like a "Bouillabaisse" (typical dish from Marseille)Unfortunately, we were far away from that...(no wonder the server was from Paris)If you re hungry and dont have 100$ to spend for a meal, it s a no go.

The Chef and staff were so welcoming and friendly. This is a gourmet dining experience. Allow plenty of time (1-2 hrs) to savour each course. We lost count of the number of dishes served in the Familia sampler (14?), but each one was a culinary delight; aesthetically and taste-wise. A wonderful experience. We can see why they're so popular. Thank you!

So I'm a difficult person to please at a seafood restaurant being more of a meat eater .......we were close to leaving when the chef Anthony made me a bet that he could make me enjoy the tasting menu . Finally at the age of 48 I decided to take a risk as I respected his confidence. Plate after plate arrived and I ate everything. Absolutely thoughtful dishes made and the taste was unbelievable. The entire experience opened my eyes . The owners and all the staff take command of the room with an easy atmosphere . It was the best experience I've ever had eating out .Bravo guys

The good points: a nice location with a great deck, and the service was really good: knowlegable, attentive and friendly. The first bad point is the price - you should expect to pay, after tax and tip $130-150 per person excluding alcohol, whether you go for the 3-course 'family' menu or the a la carte. The alcohol is similarly expensive ($70-$700 for a bottle of wine) but the drinks choices were excellent. The second bad point, for me, was the food. The sourdough bread was nice, even if it was $15 (after tax and service) a portion. Maybe I was unlucky, but the fritto misto I ordered contained for a main course was about 20% seafood, 60% kale and 20% other vegetables. The batter was heavy and greasy, and above all it was almost inedible because of the salt content.

Reservation is a must, as walk-in capacity very limited. Marina offers parking whether you come by car or boat. Friendly staff and chef with creative menu with locally sourced food. Recommend going with the "Family Style" dinner to taste majority of items on the menu. Definitely well crafted, and I love the chef coming to our table to explain his dishes of the day. Hard to believe 2022 is the 1st season for this restaurant. Wishing all the best to the chef and looking to learn where I can continue to taste his food in the winter.

Would love to rate the restaurant, But….Tonight we stayed at the Secret Cove Marina, the people at the marina were amazing, truly fantastic people. Now for the Upper Deck restaurant,We put our name down to be waitlisted at 5pm and we were informed we should get a table within the hour, it’s now 8:53pm the restaurant closes at 9pm, not even a call or a txt, we did go back at around 7:30pm to give them a new phone number as my wife’s battery was flat,So I guess no dinner for us.Not too happy.

We went as a group and were required to have a "six-course tasting menu". Shortly after arriving and ordering drinks, we were bombarded with plates of food. We were all a little confused as we have all experienced tasting menus before, and this definitely wasn't the format that we were expecting. There were no distinct six courses, but rather a series of small plates that were served, and were to be shared family style. At $100/pp, we were all expecting something a little more refined. While the food was tasty, family-style is not what you expect of a "tasting menu". Dinner for 2 with a $55 bottle of wine, tax and tip in, ran us $350. Oh, and meringue with some berries as the dessert "course" was beyond disappointing. Friendly service and great view, of course, but...

Fantastic experience from the reservation process to the location the incredible food and wonderful and friendly service. Jen, Alex and the entire team made for an exceptional birthday dinner experience with our family. Chef's tasting menu started with their signature "snack attack" with a range of appetizers as delicious as imaginative! No issues making the experience as exciting for the vegan in our group. The location is simply as beautiful as it could be, a true taste of British Columbia. Service was perfect, wine selection was great. I could not have asked for more.

What an amazing experience! This restaurant is fantastic! Excellent service and staff and incredible food! My goodness. We ate until our hearts were content and the food just kept coming. We were shocked to learn that only two chefs were in the kitchen for the packed house. It felt like 10. They pumped out food, came out to chat with us, and explained every course. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The ravioli, ragu pasta dish, and lamb were some of my favourites but truly, every dish was fresh and delicious. They get their fish directly from the fisherman at the cove! The best restaurant on the Sunshine Coast! Thanks to Jen and Antonio for taking good care of us and making our night oh so special!!

An amazing place. Do not miss it while heading north or south on your boat. The venue is perfect, the food amazing and service exemplary. We shared the local caught pink scallop appetizer then both had the mushroom pasta and finished with a chocolate mousse. It was a culinary extravaganza!

Must try their mushroom pasta, scallops and margarita. The best.

A restaurant that is able to build an outstanding experience from local talent is a true treasure along the coast.Jenn and Anthony are phenomenal hosts who bring the finesse of the city to the sunshine coast. The seafood, drinks and atmosphere are not to be missed! Plan to spend an evening here! ☺️
