If you are looking for a culinary delight this is the place to go. I was very apprehensive because of the tasting menu price, especially in light of the fact that I had no idea what I was going to get. Both my husband and I had one of the most fabulous food experiences of our lives. Everything was perfect. I have an allergy and they made my evening worry free. Food, ambience, service and wine were all exceptional! Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for and the money...
We helped our niece & nephew celebrate their 5th anniversary here. You do need to call a few weeks in advance to get a table at this seasonal restaurant. The service was impeccable. The appetizers were very good although we did not like the scallops that well (but they were good enough to eat them all !). For mains we had the 2 different pastas and the sturgeon which I thought was the best offering. For dessert we had their homemade ice cream (5 + *****) and the chocolate...
The Chef and staff were so welcoming and friendly. This is a gourmet dining experience. Allow plenty of time (1-2 hrs) to savour each course. We lost count of the number of dishes served in the Familia sampler (14?), but each one was a culinary delight; aesthetically and taste-wise. A wonderful experience. We can see why they're so popular. Thank you!
