Kan Yon is a very cozy restaurant. I wasn't here when the place was alot bigger but they downsized the restaurant probably to focus on keeping the quality of food at a high level. The owner or manager Kevin is probably one of the nicest and kindest business owners in Hope, he is always willing to help out people in need. Great good and even greater Staff. My all time favorite place to eat in town. I eat here atleast 2-3 times a week if I can.

I love visiting Kan Yon restaurant every time I'm in hope. Their food is amazing. The man running the show is very kind and knowledgeable about his tea. They sell a variety of healthy teas. He also makes his own hot sauce that is delicious ask about it!

We stopped onto Kan Yon while staying over night in Hope.The owner is an absolute gem! We had the soup special, beef & broccoli and chicken fried rice. Everything was great!They also offer over 80 different types of tea - the staff is very knowledgeable of all the selections. We went with the apple tea - it was a grey way to end the night after a long drive!If you are considering stopping in you won’t regret it!

Our group ordered the Dinner for 8 today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambiance of the restaurant is more of a take out spot but don't let the cafeteria feel stop you from ordering their tasty food.The flavors of the various dishes were very good, Our order was prepared quickly despite the restaurant opening the doors for lunch just moments before the order was placed. The egg rolls could be drained a bit longer as there was oil in the bottom of the take out box making the crispy coating a bit soggy; the rolls still tasted great and all the other dishes were perfect. Thanks Kan Yon for helping us make our special day even better. We will definitely order from you again!
