The place is warm and inviting, staff is friendly and service is fast. Whenever traveling back to kamloops from Chilliwack, we usually have to stop and grab sushi from here. Prices are good, and food is tasty.

My OH and I came for dinner. The sushi was really good, but we found everything else quite disappointing. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with rice, which turned out to be fried chicken with a drizzle of teriyaki sauce on a bed of cabbage and carrots. Whilst I appreciated the veg, some of it was quite oily in the end. I've never had teriyaki chicken this way before (as in, fried chicken) rather than cooked in the pan with lots of sauce, and didn't enjoy it. Although, now I know that's a question to ask. My husband had a bento box, good volume, but the noodles and chicken (also fried with a sauce drizzle) weren't particularly tasty.

The thickest pieces of sashimi we’ve ever seen, and very soft and buttery. The rolls also were extremely generous with fish. We highly recommend this place! The only item I don’t recommend is the ice cream because it was very icy and not creamy. But it was on the house so can’t even really complain. The residents of Hope are very lucky to have this spot!
Dietary restrictions: The restaurant was perfectly accommodating when we asked for some of our rolls to be without sesame seeds.
The sushi was very sub par. It's been a long time sense I wouldn't finish my sushi for a old fishy taste.. the prawn tempura however was amazing...

I was in the middle of ordering, literally still speaking and the waitress walked away to check out a table of probably 15! So had to wait through each of them to pay their bill and then I got to finish placing my order. Never have I ever experienced such disrespect! Also never got a refill on my water once in the 45 min I was there
