Unbelievable food at the kicking horse cafe! It gets busy but they move through the line fast. One of the best breakfast spots in the valley.

Bah. I used to love this place. Came through town the week between Christmas and New Year (aka peak chaos) and, surprise, it’s closed. December 30. Tuesday. Valley is packed, and while in the parking lot gawking at the Closed sign, another group comes up similarly mystified about why it's closed. At some point it stops being “principled” and starts being flaky. Hard to stay loyal to a business that can’t reliably be open.

I am often in radium and invermere to ride my mtb - it's my favorite place to go. We were looking for coffee last fall and google found this shop, kind of off the beaten track. Thank God - I'll be going here every time I'm in the area. It just hits. The staff are so friendly, it looks cool, the patio rocks, it's nice and quiet outside. I can't wait to drop in for breakfast on the way to the trails next spring. :)

I had the best London Fog (Newfoundland Fog) I've ever had in my life here. I will think and dream about it.

I’ve purchased & drank Kicking Horse Grizzly Claw whole bean coffee for many years. It was the most flavourful, full bodied darker roast coffee in the supermarket. Years of enjoyment to say the least ! Now, I’m on about my 10th bag of a bean that has LOST its delicious flavour & body.. what happened !!? Unfortunately, I’m now looking for a new bean..
If you had have asked me a year ago. I would have said 100%. But the 100% price increase in under a year makes it far too expensive.
Absolutely love this cafe. I love the moody decor and the coffee and food is great! It gets pretty busy at times and they run pretty lean so it can be a little bit of a wait, but definitely worth it!
Great coffee!

Our last experience at kicking horse cafe was just after they opened the following the covid shut down for 2 years. It was a big disappointment at the time, very expensive, mediocre quality. Thought we'd try it again today, pleasantly surprised, a plain dark drip coffee was very good. Ham and cheese croissant excellent and baking was good. Service slow but ALL IS FORGIVEN👍

Super unique cafe setting with an amazing atmosphere, great menu and I shouldn’t even have to say the coffee menu is extensive and soooo good. I can just drop in for a quick grab-and-go coffee or have a nice sit down breakfast or lunch alone or with friends. Great times.

Friendly service, great coffee, and the BLT is delicious.
10/10 on every aspect (I’m an interior designer and a coffee shop lover)
Don’t go so that it doesn’t become overcrowded please!
