The decor is nice but superficial. The coffee beans are likely chosen for consistency, resulting in mediocre quality. The espresso lacks any aroma, similar to over-roasted Starbucks beans. The staff taking orders was quite mean and assumed we were taking out without even asking—completely lacking in service.

Meal: I ordered a cup of latte. The first sip had a strong bitter taste of coffee, which instantly lifted my spirits, and then it started to become smoother.
Service: The lady who took our order was very polite, but the other service staff had a straight face and a sense of cold distance.
Environment: Spacious and comfortable, it is a rare fashionable coffee shop in this area, and parking is convenient.
Overall review: If time permits next time I pass by, I might try other meals.

My partner had a cafe mocha and LOVED it. My daughter is from Cranbrook and she loves to stop here when driving to Calgary because its close to the highway and she likes their coffee options. We didnt eat but menu looked great and very busy lunch rush.

"Kicking Horse Coffee is a game changer! The coffee is rich, smooth, and packed with flavor. Whether you prefer a bold roast or something more mellow, they have something for every taste. The quality is consistently top-notch, and it’s clear they’re passionate about what they do. Highly recommend to any coffee lover!"

WOW what a treat. I've been drinking kicking horse for a long time, but never knew they were based in Invermere. Found this by accident on our trip and was more than surprised by the atmosphere and the quality of food, let alone the fancy drinks. Can wait for the next trip to come back!

Beautiful location, eggs in purgatory were delish and coffee presentation was impressive.
My only suggestion-Move your menu stand close to the till on the right or in front so people.can look while in line.

Gloomy November morning - a perfect one for the best breakfast in the valley! Bold statement - yes but the “Eggs in Purgatory” - a newish item on the menu was fantastic. Really checked all the boxes for me!
I know I should have taken a before picture, but I think the after picture tells a better story. Very good!
Of course the coffee was excellent.
Great service and really well done.
