11/25/24 Thought we had an decent time here. THOUGHT. Dropped in for a stay for work and thought this was probably the best option as it was connected to our hotel. I had a schooner and 2 beers as well as dinner, my work partner had 4 drinks while we sat at the bar to watch the hockey game. We were there for 2 hours after all. I offered to grab the cheque and (my fault, I should have checked) paid for the bill. Typically I don't even think about it, I've never been ripped off like this. Needed a receipt for work so I don't typically check the bill, just put it into my slip bag and move on like most days on the road. Now, it may seem an oversight, but there was only a few tables tonight. I was right there when my pal ordered, there was never a "double" ordered in our 2 hour stay, and yes, my fault for not checking prior, but being as dead as it was, this couldn't have been an innocent mistake. I was charged 12 drinks. That's 50% more than purchased. There was one meal ordered, not even two. Just tipped a full 20% tip on the original bill. Will not be back, what a joke. Food was alright, thought our waitress Christine was nice but I guess not. Thanks for the padded bill, won't be back for the second one. Check your cameras managers, that's a terrible way to treat customers.

I recently stayed at the Kanata Hotel on November 9th. During my visit, my family and I dined at this restaurant, unfortunately, I left my wallet behind. Thankfully, one of their exceptional staff members (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name) went above and beyond to retrieve it. She kindly brought it to the hotel reception and ask them to find us and she personally returned it to me.
My family and I are incredibly grateful for her kindness and dedication. You are fortunate to have such an outstanding team member. Our dinner experience was fantastic, and every staff member we interacted with was warm and friendly. Food was super good

Were looking for a place near Hot Springs to have breakfast and googled the place. Ended up having a great meal, large menu choice, good prices and awesome service. Highly recommend for breakfast/lunch.

Staff were great. Food was okay flavor wise (need a sweeter salsa for the taco salad or add some corn, more cilantro too) and portions were decent but dinner for 3 was over $100 and 2 people just got burgers.

If you enjoy instant mashed potatoes, previously frozen vegetables, and well-done steak when you asked for medium-rare (this happened to multiple of us at our table) for $25, then this is the place for you.

First time here. Service, drinks, dumplings and burger were good. Steak was okay but way overcooked. Frozen vegetables and powdered mashed potatoes were SO gross and disappointing on my $25 steak meal. Please please please get some fresh vegetables. How lazy.

Great place to have a bite, beer and watch sports in their lounge. Good -relaxed atmosphere. It’s pub food but…….. $30 for nachos? Think they need to rethink some of their food prices.

We came here after being turned down at another restaurant due to it being full, and we were not disappointed! It was probably better than where we planned to go haha. Absolutely delicious and big burgers, amazing sweet potato fries and lots of great selection for food and drink. Fast and friendly service. If we are ever in invermere again I would come back!

Always stop here while visiting town. Service is quick and friendly, the food is always tasty and it's attached to hotel we often stay at. I've never had a bad experience here and we've been about half a dozen times now for breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend!
