Traders Lounge at Eagle Ranch Resort (Formerly Rustica)

Service was great and food came fast. Only downside was the short rib was 50% fat/50% meat and you needed a chainsaw knife to cut the meat, my son and I both had the dish. Other orders were good though.

Headed here thinking it would be a fancy restaurant on a beautiful golf course, but unfortunately had a bad experience. After taking 25 minutes to get our first drink, no water was offered at our table. We politely asked our server for some water after our meal arrived which was also forgotten. The meal took an extra 20 minutes to arrive. The salmon was very small and dry, seemed like it had been sitting for a while. No dessert was offered and we had to ask for a dessert menu. When we received our bill, there was an extra $6 charge on-top of a $21 Old Fashioned that is not on their menu. The waitress initially told me it was a standard charge, apologized, but did not offer a refund. I asked to speak to someone to provide feedback on their menu being wrong, and the waitress stormed off and came back with her purse and gave me my $6 back and told me "our manager isn't available right now". Another server came by appearing as a manager and told us the receipt was a "computer error". She offered to help us with our bill, but after learning we had already paid did not offer us any compensation for the unprofessional experience. Unfortunately I would not recommend this for lack of service and professionalism, lies about the incorrect bill, and no compensation on our $160 bill. This review is not about the $6, this review is to highlight the way the staff handled our inquiry.

Unbelievable views and setting overlooking the valley, Invermere and Lake Windermere. There isn't a better view in the area. Beautiful building, great menu and food. We highly recommend. Check the triple rainbow we saw during dinner.

Beautiful setting and attentive staff. However the food and cocktails were below average. The "Cherry Peppertini" was syrupy sweet , not at all peppery, and disappointing. The burger was mediocre. Very few vegetarian options. The Beet Burrata Stack was tiny- even for a small plate. We have been coming here for years and wanted to show off the place to a visiting guest and we were very disappointed. I won't come here for a meal again unless something changes.

Spectacular view and good service. The food was just ok.We ordered the Short Rib as well as the Salmon. This was our first visit since becoming Traders Lounge. Our prior visits were very good,We and felt that both service and the food were lacking this time

Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and had great recommendations of what was good. Beautiful view.

Great Thanksgiving meal - good service, they should have some light music and a more extensive wine list.

Flys!!!!! We were looking for a place to eat and found this on a map.
Absolutely beautiful location and view. We noticed all the flys as soon as we sat down. The waitress was very nice and friendly and said it's either flys or wasps, nothing we can do. Offered to bring us a zapper. So my husband sat there with it in his hand. Not the most comfortable way to enjoy a meal. When the food came just average, not worth the price) we were swarmed!!!! We tried to eat with our napkins over the plates. It was impossible. We started to pick up our plates and head to the balcony and she helped us move outside. It's the only way we could eat. Very very very disappointed

Well?!?! I got 2 words “THE FLYS”!!!! Look where I’m from in the South (USA) Flys are a huge no no! Get a bug zapper from Walmart for goodness sake. Hang some fly tape (yuck)! DO SOMETHING, other than saying “…I’m sorry for the flys.” Come on man!!!! Google how to keep flys away and you will find a dozen solutions! It was horrible! I honestly felt like I was in a horse barn. The awesome view was totally ruined by the “Fly Attack”……Oh, I almost forgot, their solution when we complained…… “We have a electronic fly swatter (bug zapper) you can use!” I’m not joking….by the way, the batteries were dead in the bug zapper and it did not work!!! I cannot make this stuff up! It was so bad!!!

Truly the best view in the valley. We had an early dinner on the patio and the food and service were great. Highly recommend making a reservation for sunset, the ambiance and the views are beautiful.

Overall the experience was good. Only negative was the steak was over cooked. The staff offered to remake a new one however decided to eat it instead of waiting for a new one. They did however comp our desert to make it right. If steak was cooked properly from the start would have given it 5 stars.

DONT STAY HERE !!! I can’t believe the state of the rooms here I came in for a late check in was told the rooms were checked so we thought great we finally had some good service and expected a nice and clean room and what we got was a filthy un-cleaned room and when I mean un-clean we found a magic wand vibrator from whoever stayed their last, and it the size of the drawer and the reason why I say is because they told us they were sorry for the little things they missed and that’s not even the tip of the iceberg their was strands of hair in the coffee cups the robes were used and left hanging the tub was so dirty it left white scum on your hands when you wiped it , their was bandaid left on the ground by the bed In plain sight the coffee machine was used and disgusting packets of sugar and garbage left by the coffee machine their was water all under the coffee machine just soaking wet and for a golf resort I expected service and not one time we could get something and all for this we got a 15$ gift coupon for drinks and was told the bar was open till ten then after a day of golf we go to finally get a drink and then to be told by the bartenders that they closed 20 minutes ago at 9:20 ish? When we were told by the guy at the Hotel that they closed at 10 and refused to make any kind of non alcoholic drink or anything so we just left and since the only thing the I think Hotel associate could do was comp our golf where we had our cart die at the farthest point on the course and just so lucky to have another family member their just in enough distance to hear me yell for them before they drove off and then a guy came around and was kind enough to give us an extra cart but that was after we loaded everything up on their cart and just overall was a pretty disappointed experience and even after we asked for our room that we got moved to to be cleaned and the guy promised us it would be because they as well were filthy we never got anyone no one came and cleaned not till we packed and left and we couldn’t get ahold of front desk and our other family members had the same experiences and problems I would have never came here if I knew it was gonna be this bad this was supposed to be the highlight of our trip but ended up being one of the worst experiences we have ever had in our lives!!! If I had a choice we would’ve left but there was no where to go!

The weight staff is wonderful. Sitting outside is also wonderful, depending upon whether there are a lot of wasp or hornets whatever they call them. The food is good, but it just isn't a reason to eat at the restaurant. We eat there because it's convenient to where we are staying. But the place is in town are as good or much better. This property has a lot of potential, but they're probably some undertones that the consumer cannot see the keep it from blossoming.
