Traders Lounge at Eagle Ranch Resort (Formerly Rustica)

From start to finish the evening was fantastic. It was our first trip there and you couldn't have asked for more. As soon as we walked in the door the staff were friendly and they continued to be friendly for the entire evening. They went out of their way to help us and we were very happy with all of the service. The food is just first class I can't say enough about it. We had appetizers and a main course and then finally dessert. Everything was perfect. We sat outside and there was a large table of golfers seated next to us probably 16 or 17 people. They were respectful and having a good time but nothing you wouldn't expect. At the end of the evening they ended up paying for our dinner. Not sure if they thought they were being too loud or disruptive but they weren't. It was a wonderful gesture and we were very happy to have such an incredible experience there. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our evening at Traders. You can't beat the incredible view and eating outside was so pleasant as the weather was perfect! The food was delicious. We had the mussels, Harvest salad, Arctic Char and the Saku Tuna Bowl! Enjoyed every morsel, though my husband was a little less enthusiastic about the Char than my dad was. I would definitely go back for the Tuna bowl. It was so yummy! The service was good ( loved our fun and sweet waitress), but not amazing. It was a bit spotty and at times seemed like a bit too long of a wait between her appearances. To her credit, I think it had to do most likely a shortage of staff, which I know can be typical of this time of year. But overall, we loved it!

Gluten free and dairy free options available. Really enjoyed our meal. Nice ambiance, clean restaurant, good service.

What a difference a few weeks make. I had an outstanding lunch on August 8th and recommended the outlet to friends, We were sadly disappointed by two of the three dishes and the lack of an espresso coffee after over a year of requesting one. Having been in the restaurant business cheery staff do not replace consistently good food and a lack of maintenance.

Absolutely beautiful setting! 😍🙌 Friendly hostess. Waiter was okay. My husband and I enjoyed our time very much and it was a memorable experience for us both! Food was pretty good but not amazing. (My arctic char was very fishy). Still, we'd likely return ... just for the ambiance.

Enjoyed our meal and the beauty of the place. The service was disappointing, sat waiting for service and hostess came up and offered to take our drink order because our server was “preoccupied “. We watched as 5 other tables were seated and were helped with servers that you would expect from a high quality restaurant. We had to wave down the hostess to please bring water to the table as all the other guests. Still no server and the hostess came back with the water but no glasses. It continued until we got the attention of the hostess again and she took our food order. Wife had to send back the beet stack with short ribs. Replaced it this time with shrimp which she said was good. My steak was excellent. Finally saw our server when they comped our dessert Think we were victims of them being short staffed or they were not planning on them being as busy they were that evening Beautiful place and the food ended up being delicious

Dined on Thursday, August 21st Steaks overdone, perhaps because they were thin. Frites are supposed to be thin, crisp fries & these were not, just ordinary fries, and not crispy. The risotto that the duck legs sat on was 100% tasteless, without any seasonings, even salt. I ordered beef short rib. The flavour of short rib and mash potatoes were good, but the rib had an excessive amount of fat. Probably 5 mouthfuls of meat. Nice variety of vegetables, but again, absolutely no seasonings,,,salt or butter. Excellent ambience on the deck, and very good service.

Atmosphere and views are amazing, but the food was bland and overcooked and uninspired for the high price.

Not a good experience. Our server was too stretched - water requested and late, wine arrived after the food and the Tuna Saku tasted like Salmon - tasty but not at all what I expected. Only a couple of BC red wines on menu. Overall, disappointing but sure they could do much better.

Gorgeous views and a beautiful restaurant environment. Floor under 2 tables that we were moved to were very dirty, eventually was swept up after some persistence. Waitress also got my order wrong which was eventually corrected.

Traders lounge was a fantastic dining experience. Real value for dollar with elegant and vibrant menu options. An excellent up-casual experience. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Service was top notch, food was delivered hot and promptly! Setting and surroundings were beautiful. Well done Traders lounge we will be back

Overall, it was disappointing. We've come here for many years and this time it did not impress. The service was subpar and seemed like she could use some more training - when pouring the first glass froma bottle of wine she said "tell me when"..... The food was disappointing despite the menu looking very promising - the short rib was very tough and the seafood pasta was a bit bland in the sauce despite the seafood tasting good. Good wine list. It's a great view, but won't be in a rush to go back.

A a good place to take the grandchildren for supper. The waitress brought crayons and paper for them to colour while we waited for our meal. We dined on the patio and the staff turned on the heaters to take the chill off the evening.

Service was great and food came fast. Only downside was the short rib was 50% fat/50% meat and you needed a chainsaw knife to cut the meat, my son and I both had the dish. Other orders were good though.

Worst Caesar I have ever had. Not even close hurt to drink.
