We either dine in or take out from Spice Hut nearly every time we come to Invermere. Their food is flavourful and the service is always good. Just be sure to specify NO DAIRY even when ordering their vegetable dishes (like at most places.) Our favourite options include the chana masala, daal (be careful, there's a daal and and daal makhani), bhindi (okra) masala, eggplant bharta and aloo gobi. Get the roti with no butter. Enjoy :)
Spice hut in Invermere was an outstanding experience! The food was authentic, flavorful, and truly representative of the best Indian cuisine. From the perfectly spiced curries to the fresh naan, the biriyani dish was cooked to perfection. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. The food was great! I tried the Karahi Paneer, which was delicious, and the portion was generous enough for two people to share. The chai was excellent, and the veggie naan was amazing—more like an aloo kulcha. I also ordered the honey sesame cauliflower pakora, which tasted good, though the portion size was a bit small. The servers were sweet and polite, though they did seem a little rushed. Overall, it was a lovely experience!
