Amazing experience all around. I got the fufu and egusi which tasted incredible. Came out very fast and the people who served us checked up on us multiple times and even gave us suggestions of what to order. The vibes in the restaurant were upbeat and happy. Will definitely return!

Delicious West African food, lovely people! Tried the egusi with fufu and ewa gonyi with plantains, will be coming back for the rest of the menu.

Amazing food with great service and atmosphere.. Reminds of some great favors from Nigeria.
Moreover the foods are Halal. Do you know how hard is it to find Halal Nigerian restaurants in Canada.

This was my first time trying African food, so I went in with an open mind. Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy the dish I ordered. I tried the Nigerian Shawarma, and it was made with hotdog and was very oily, which wasn’t what I expected at all.
That said, the staff did their best and were trying to be helpful, and the environment and service were acceptable. It just wasn’t the right food experience for me personally.

Friendly service, good flavours
This is our go-to restaurant whenever we dine out. The food is always excellent, with a well-curated menu that offers something for everyone. The service is exceptional as well; the staff are friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

I tried the chicken legs and thighs. So it was fairly prices and good taste. If someone wants to eat heavy meal with low price the 4 thighs cost only 19$ with one sides corn or fries or other options.

During our return from Banff, we chose to dine at Afrofusion for lunch to sample their African-inspired cuisine.
The absence of visual menu aids and the staff's limited guidance complicated the selection process. Nevertheless, we opted for their Signature Jollof rice. While the subjective nature of taste makes it difficult to provide a definitive assessment, the portion size was notably small, and the price point was relatively high.

Food was great. If you love coconut rice, you'll love theirs. At first we weren't sure about the place because it was empty. We gave it a chance because it had 4 stars on yelp. We ordered the coconut rice main dish with chicken and plantains and side orders of fish, jollof rice, beef as we weren't that hungry but mainly didn't know what to expect. To our surprise everything we ordered including the mango drink was good, nay great.

I came in for a late lunch. I ordered coconut creamy penne pasta with side of stewed peppered meat. It was excellent! The pasta sauce was very nice with diced veggies and the stewed meat was very flavorful and not too spicey for me. I will stop in again when I'm back in Kamloops.

We came last year during a road trip & found the food and service to be decent. Came back this time since it is one of the few halal options in Kamloops & were quite disappointed.
Apparently the owner/operator is pursuing some Guiness record, so there were a bunch of her family/friends there talking amongt each other. Wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't such a glaring lack of service.
We had to wait several minutes and approach the group to be seated and given a menu. Menu had only a small handful of items available at the time, which were way too overpriced for the quality and quantity of food we were given. Like the chicken leg was broken and not even a full peice.
We kept having to ask the server for basic things like water (even though resteraunts usually bring it themselves), napkins & utensils.
Just not a good experience overall. I understand the Guiness thing was for a good cause, but if you're going to overlook paying customers & provide bad service, you'll drive them away. We were left so confused by the lack of service and hospitality. Washrooms were dirty as well. Won't come here again.
Quite by chance I was drawn to this restaurant during my travels to Alberta. Chef Zainab, a beautiful woman, is going to beat the Guinness Book of World Records by cooking for a long time, several days, and she's giving all the food away-FREE,,!
Isn't that incredible?
Zainab came to Kamloops nine years ago as a student and decided to stay. She certainly is a gem, and your City is fortunate to have her.
Please drop by to make a donation, to cheer her on and to volunteer your help.
Lovely staff and I wolfed the jollof rice, chicken thigh in yummy red sauce and the best coleslaw ever!
