Being Dutch it felt so weird to sit at a restaurant called Amsterdam hahaha. But went there because of the great reviews and I totally understand them. I also chose the vegan tempeh skillet and I loved having a different breakfast than the usual vegan bowl or salad options. Also wonderful place to go to with people really wanting meat, since they have good options on the menu for both.
The staff was very friendly, telling me all bread options are vegan and the melted butter on top is vegan as well.

Absolutely wonderful establishment!We stopped in and ate on our way through town ,and were absolutely satisfied with everything .The staff was generally comprised of younger people who actually care about the quality of food and level of service their customers receive . Our server Isabel was above and beyond pleasant and wish more restaurants were able to provide the positive experience we had.

Sunday mid morning on a drive from BC to Alberta we found this spot. Very busy, polite staff, we took a seat at the bar. Great food and coffee. Highly recommend.

We went to Amsterdam while we were visiting friends in Kamloops. It was pretty busy so we had to wait 30-40 minutes for a table. I was amazed that they offered some good vegan options which was great for me. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals as well. Our server was very friendly and helpful as well. The restaurant is showing its age and could do with a bit of a refresh.

Perfect place for a pannekoek. Delicious food. Friendly servers. Food up quickly. Good prices - considering how the “other” place (chain restaurant) for pannekoek is so overpriced. I will go back … and I travelled from the Lower Mainland to come eat there.
