The food at Arigato Sushi is outstanding, and I highly recommend trying the Red Tofu and YamiYami Roll. However, the service experience left room for improvement. While ordering, I felt rushed by the server, who repeatedly asked, “Is that everything?” before I could even finish speaking. This made me feel as if I was ordering excessively, even though my order included just a roll, soup, and a half-order of tempura—standard for a single adult dinner.
Additionally, the server attempted to clear my plate when I still had about 25% of my meal remaining, making me wonder if I was taking up the table for too long. My entire visit, from the time I was seated to when I left, lasted only 50 minutes.
While the food is excellent, Arigato Sushi could benefit from more attentive and considerate service.

Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Awesome portion size and fair prices. The owners are so warm and friendly and always remember me when I come in, even if it's been a few months. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely keep coming back. Thanks for everything!!!!
Update: Back for a visit in 2024. Ordered take out for my family of 16. They got the pick up time dialed and the food was amazing, service was great as usual. I’ll keep coming back!!! Thanks guys!!!

Food was good but the server dumped hot miso soup on my boyfriend and didn’t apologize at the end or offer to buy his pop, food or anything. He’s lucky he isn’t seriously burned.

I stopped by on the way from Banfu to Vancouver. I missed Japanese and Korean food.
I usually enjoy eating Japanese sashimi. The salmon and tuna here were really different. The thickness is three times that of a regular restaurant. Triple the freshness and flavor In particular, unlike the typical yellow farmed salmon, bright red wild salmon was a new experience for us.
I can't forget the smell when I bite into a single leaf of tuna tataki.
The restaurant was clean and the food was so good that I had a chance to meet the owner in person and ask questions.
The young owner majored in hotel management in the United States. “Customers come to enjoy delicious food…let’s focus only on this.” It must be fresh, the quantity must be plentiful, and the taste must be excellent~~
This is why it was continuously selected as the best restaurant last year and this year.
If you're staying at least one night in Kamlops, be sure to stop by. You will never regret it~~
