We went out for a family meal tonight (group of 8 & a newborn). When we arrived there wasn’t a table/space big enough to seat our group. The girl at the front said it would probably only be 20 minutes, so we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while we waited. The barman was great, the girl that was seating us kept us informed as to when the table was going to be ready and continued to appologize for the wait (not that it was her fault there wasn’t a table), the waitress that had our table was fantastic and the food…. Well that was amazing!! Everyone at our table throughly enjoyed their meals!

Bold Italian is truly exceptional. The owners consistently go above and beyond to connect with their customers when available and make every visit feel personal. They pick amazing staff who are always kind and understanding…But what really stands out to me is a moment from this past summer that proved just how incredible they are.
We came in with our son, who is autistic and needs more of an outlet than most children. He was feeling overstimulated and really wanted to play his little golf game out on the patio. The patio wasn’t busy, and Karly— who is an absolutely amazing human — welcomed him with open arms. She not only allowed him to play, she even brought out small cups for him to “shoot” into, making him feel comfortable, included, and understood. That level of kindness is something you don’t forget as a parent.
The food and drinks are bar none (even if we can sneak in for a quick drink it’s our go to place), truly some of the best around, and it’s a huge part of why we keep coming back. But it’s the heart, compassion, and genuine care from the team that make Bold Italian a place we’ll always recommend — whether it’s a family dinner or a date night.
Bold is a gem, and we’re so grateful for them.

I just wanted to come here and say that me and my family were at BOLD for dinner on Friday, November 28th. The food, as usual was amazing. I shared a Pizza and had a forno salad. Our server was a brunette lady and I think her name was Cally who was so attentive. Having said that I’d like to say something to Linda Voray who was there that night, having a fit about tables. She was loud and rude. She is lying and denying what she did there, which was make a bit of a scene only to up and leave when she didn’t get her way. We ALL heard you. I felt so bad for the young hostess who said her name was Gabriella. She’s always a doll yet was treated like crap AND grabbed onto by this woman. Not acceptable. I should have said something to you! I had secondhand embarrassment for you and your friend. When you didn’t get your way, you up and left without paying. We all saw that.
So everyone who comes here and reads this review, or the one from her friend, DISREGARD.
BOLD is one of the best places in town for a decent meal at affordable prices.

The selection of pasta was much better than most Italian eateries, and staff gave great suggestions. The marinara sauce is one of the best I’ve had in my life! Full of fresh tomato flavour, sticks well to the pasta, nice and thick, but still smooth. I had the lasagna rolls and an excellent half-cabrese salad. Portions were very generous- I had enough for lunch again the next day. Bravo for going beyond the ordinary pizzeria!

I find it interesting that this review was written by someone who was not present to experience the situation. You have most definitely over embellished all aspects of the interactions I had with your staff. I will not lower myself to counter all of these ridiculous accusations but I will say that I found all staff quite gracious and friendly except the one.
Worst customer service ever directly from the owner...I will never go back and will definitely not recommend. It would have been a simple table switch to avoid all of this! I would recommend the owner work on her customer service skills.

We got take out cause it was more convenient for us. The Lobster Mac, Lobster pizza and Ceasar salad were all fantastic! The pizza crust is killller, legit italian style. Super tasty, BOLD flavours. Will definitely be back for more.

My husband and I went to Bold for lunch yesterday and everything was exceptional. The food, the service, the atmosphere—we had the loveliest date! Their lunch specials are an incredible deal and such good food. Will definitely be back again!!
Our first time there. I am celiac so a big concern at restaurants. I phoned in advance and was explained how they manage gluten Free meals. We arrived and the service was stunning as was our pizza. Truly enjoyed the experience and will return. Great atmosphere btw.

The food is beyond good; the sauces homemade, the dough homemade, the atmosphere is amazing and the service is phenomenal. Had ordered the lobster Mac and my partner ordered the chicken Parmesan and I wound up trading for her plate not because mine was bad but because the portion size was too huge for herself. I’m not a small fella and it filled me up. The garlic dough rolls were so soft and cheesy. Can’t say enough good things about this place 🫶
