Cora Breakfast and Lunch

Huge menu. Massive portions.

We went to various CORAS restaurants for breakfast during our vacation in Canada, and it was great every time, including this time in Kamloops. The people are nice and the food is delicious. There is plenty of parking in front of the door.

Great restaurant, clean bathrooms, quick and friendly service. Nice way to start pur day.

Exactly what i would expect from a Cora's restaurant. I can only speak for this dish as I always order this one sweet and savory dish and its always great. Food is fresh and the quality is consistent. I had their hot chocolate one morning. It was okay but probably not something I would get there regularly. Environment was open and bright. Customer service was excellent. The moment I walked in the door a kitchen staff member welcomed me while I waited to be seated by the hostess. Moderate amount of parking outside.

It was nothing special, I don't understand the hype. Pea meal bacon was the only good thing on my plate. Only good thing was our waiter he was very nice.

Super busy yet staff was very attentive. Food was delicious and plentiful. Shout out to my server in-training Hailey - exceptional job ?

Came in between 10:30 and 11 am; it was busy but not crazy busy. Tables were available and clean as well as the high chair. The greeters were nice, they took us to the table and gave the highchair. The server (long curly hair, I did not get her name) vould definitely use a bit more training on server manners. I understand that the kitchen was loud but I was already yelling and she always goes “What?!” when maybe she could’ve leaned closer to hear and understand. My mother has specific needs due to health concerns and she doesn’t seem to know how to adapt to it. We were choosing our food and she was yelling to another 2 tables away “I know! I know!” when she could’ve clearly ignored them for a second because they were really far that it was possible and because she is conversing with us at our table. No colouring for the kids.
Our food came after 30-45 mins so we waited a while. Did not even refill my coffee or my mother’s hot water the whole time we were there. The strawberry banana smoothie was too sweet, even for me who likes sweets! When our food came, they seemed cooler than expected, so I think that it may have been ready for a while. I observed other tables and they were getting their food in a more reasonable speed than us, around 15 mins. The pancakes were dry so the kids did not quite enjoy it. There was not the usual WOW factor with our food.
I hope that they would do an Undercover Boss episode in this restaurant because I feel like it has gone downhill from when it started in Kamloops.

The service was very slow and we were over charged $60 it took quite a long time to get to bill fixed. The manager said the server was new but he didn’t offer to help her fix the bill and we weren’t offered any compensation.
