My husband and I went for dinner for our anniversary. We had the prime rib Saturday special. It was outstanding. We also had the calamari as an appetizer which was also very tasty. The service from Talon was excellent and the restaurant manager also kept checking in. We totally enjoyed our experience. Also thank you for the complimentary desert for our anniversary 😊

Tim our server was awesome. Great to deal with, and the food was excellent. Will be back 100%

Was okay. Waiter seemed like he didn't know what we was doing, pretty much told us it was going to be a long wait for food.

The restaurant had very few guests and it still took over a half hour to get our hamburger served. When we asked for fries we were told it would be an additional 5 minutes but it was more than twice that. We were tired travelers who were looking for a simple meal. It took way longer than we expected. No refills on the water.

Menu indicated “crab cakes” but only had one single cake. The steak and Yorkshire pudding special was only available on Saturday evenings. The Lilloett based white wine was very overpriced for the quality. The beef bowl entree was mediocre at best and over priced for the quality. The sample pallet cleansers between courses was a nice touch. Dessert was above average.

We had prime rib, only available on weekends. It was absolutely delicious and because we are seniors, we shared the meal. There was ample food for us both and even allowed us to enjoy dessert without feeling uncomfortable. Mitch always provides a fine spread.

Absolutely amazing shout out to Emily and Rishi the manager on duty for being such stars. I was pleased with their patience and remarkable service

Once again, you've provided a wonderful experience. I brought friends from out of town for dinner and they raved about everything... the food, the service and the atmosphere. My friend was very impressed that you served non-alcoholic cocktails. Her gin and tonic was delicious. Her husband said it was the best hamburger he had ever had in his life! Thanks for always being consistently excellent.

I came by Cordo Resto as a rest stop while coming to visit family in Shuswap. I was lucky to get there during their Brunch period and that the establishment was not busy at all. I was greeted to a table right away and asked what I wanted to drink.

I ordered the Banana Split Sugar Waffles with a Cappuccino. The Cappuccino was pretty foamy yet still very good. The waffles were extravagantly delicious. Looking at it almost looked like the ice cream dessert. All the fruit and sugary topping went great with the entree while the whipped cream was rapturous. The waffles themselves were very good on their own and was consistently crunchy, even with all the sweet foam, compote and syrup on top of it.

Being this is a restaurant inside a hotel, the interior had a modern yet very classy aesthetic to it that persuaded me at first sight. There was a café bar as well in case you wanted to order something for take-out. The service was top-notch and never felt like I was being neglected.

I was very glad to stop by the Cordo Resto and pay my patronage to this restaurant. I do hope to come back there again to try another one of their unique entrée.

Not As Expected. We made a 9:30 reso on OpenTable since we were arriving in Kamloops late. When we walked in we were greeted by a hostess who said we can sit in the dining room but we'd have 20 minutes to order, it's closing soon and that they called me earlier to let me know (I missed the call travelling and not being in cell range). Then another staff member came and suggested we sit in the lounge and gave us both menus, she was very friendly and likely done her shift. We were fine with that and were served by the bartender, who was pleasant. We were not expecting the restaurant to be in the lobby of the Delta Hotel. For food we had the Karaage Chicken which was quite tasty and we ordered Ceviche, which I usually love, we did not eat this one though, it seemed like canned seafood and had little lemon juice taste. The manager checked on us and rectified it, he was helpful. He recommended the lamp pops and we ordered the barata, the lamb was pretty good and the barata itself tasted good, it was nice and cold but the sauce was 3 different flavours and too much for us, we prefer a simpler, traditional barata. Maybe the restaurant is new and has some kinks to iron out.

Excellent food and service. They were very flexible for us as our party arrived at different times.

Extremely bad service. For the prices I should not be waiting 30min for a drink refill! Slowest service I've ever experienced and it was my birthday dinner. So disappointing.

We arrived there about 8:15 & had a reservation at 7:45, but the train arrived later than expected. Initially, we were one of I believe 3 tables, but in a short period the restaurant was packed. We had previewed the menu prior to arriving. We were tired from the long train trip so we were hoping we could have a nice dinner but get in & out semi quickly. My husband ordered the steelhead & I ordered the fried calamari appetizer. The waiter brought the wrong thing to me (chicken). After he brought my calamari, we said he could go ahead & bring the desserts which we had ordered when we ordered the main dishes & also asked him to bring our check so we could settle up & leave as soon as we were done eating. Unfortunately, service was very slow. People who arrived after us were served before us & gone while we were still on our first courses. The time we waited for dessert was extraordinary long. The waiter told us there were only two people in the kitchen. We suggest the chef train the wait staff so they can serve desserts. The desserts were already made so they just have to be sliced (pie) & served (macarons). It did not appear any garnishes were freshly done so this is a no brainer to allow the wait staff to prepare & serve desserts. The steelhead was unique & outstanding. The calamari itself was good, not great. The breading was dull & the sauce needs enhancing. There was no reason for the really spicy pepper sauce that the calamari was served on; I couldn't eat any of the calamari that had touched the sauce because I can't eat spicy food. The menu description didn't say it was extra spicy. It totally wrecked the dish. The macarons were way too sweet, but the pie was good.

Our 23rd anniversary. The clean clear open and bright concept as we walked in promised a new experience. The menu, while it did not desinate any gluten-free options was wide enough we had no problem finding meals my wife would enjoy. Stephanie was professional, friendly and fun. She was superb. The meals were beautifully presented, flavourful and delicious. My only slightly negative comment was the noise level. Without some sort of baffling or sound break I could not hear my love from across the table. It seemed s if every conversation or glass 'tink' was within arms reach of us. However; we solved this by sitting cozily next to each other which enhanced the evening. We highly recommend this restaurant. We thank Stephanie and the entire staff for helping to make our 23rd one of the best of them all.

Our food was incredible; the sea-cutarie platter and the calamari were perfectly seasoned and fresh.
The fish and chips was delicious with a beautiful crispy batter.
Our server James did a very excellent job as well.
Highly recommend for a nice date night
