We had a reservation, so it’s not that we just showed up. The waitress that took our order was not very personable, we sat and waited for over an hour, when I finally got her to come to our table, she was not at all helpful, making some excuse that they had a large party upstairs, even though the group that came in after us was served their food and we were still waiting. She finally brought us some salad but after two hours of waiting we told her that we were going to go because that was too long to wait. Needless to say we will not be going back and I will definitely not recommend them to anybody. Very disappointing.

We've been here a couple of times before and were quite pleased. Food is usually good but tonight I was quite disappointed with the roast lamb dinner and the attitude of the waitress. The rice wasn't even warm except under the meat. Then a third of my lamb was all fat. I know lamb is fatty but this was too much. When I mentioned my concerns she didn't seem care, basically told me that's the way it is and walked away. I'm not sure I'll be back, I certainly wouldn't order the lamb again at $38. Very very disappointed ☹️

The food was very good, but it took a long time to arrive. (Over 1 hour) We were a big group and just arrived as they had received a large phone-in order. They did bring us extras while waiting for dinner to arrive. The servers tried their best.

The food was spectacular although the portions are smaller than previous visits. The service was very good also. Atmosphere kinda suffered, music seemed more leaning to the staff as opposed to the clients. Greek restaurant I thought should be playing music from the culture. Not the latest pop.

We stopped in on our way to the coast. Great food! Sloooww to get our meals. There was plenty of staff, but no one checked on us. The place only had 3-4 tables. Kinda disappointed with the lack of warmth for a Greek restaurant. Would try again, but only when not with a time limit.

Went last night for dinner…1 of 3 tables that I could see….took a few mins to get seated took 10 for the server to ask about drinks…server came around after I was semi done my plate…didn’t eat much…to ask how food was…I’d say a 1 out of 5 for food /service /atmosphere

Very disappointing. Called 5 times to make a reservation, put on hold each time, no reservation was recorded when we arrived. Out of moussaka at 6 PM (again). It used to be so good.
We ordered the chicken souvlaki and roasted lamb, both of which were really fresh and served quickly. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, even though the restaurant was steady.

We sat on the patio, which was lovely except the chairs are too low for the tables making it difficult to reach our plates. I had the roasted lamb which was tough to cut. Friends ordered the platter which was good. Their pre-dinner salad came well ahead of their main, however my husband's appetizer escargot came at the same time as his main. He had even reminded our server to bring it at the same time as the pre-dinner salads, to which she agreed. By the time he finished his appy, his dinner was already cold. The wine list is lacking. There are no quality wines, only cheap substandards. A good quality oaked Chardonnay is a must. As is a good quality full bodied red. Sadly neither exist. We won't be back.

My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time, excited to explore a new cuisine. Being vegetarians, we always look for the little green vegetarian signs on menus to help guide our choices. We noticed a few dishes flagged as vegetarian, which encouraged us to go in. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish.
The servers seemed completely unaware of what the vegetarian signs meant, and when we asked for clarification, neither the staff nor the chef could explain the dishes. To make matters worse, one of the dishes labeled vegetarian actually arrived with chicken in it. When we pointed it out, the staff seemed just as confused as we were.
Service overall was extremely slow—we had to wait 20 minutes just for a single glass of wine. Between the lack of menu knowledge, mislabeling of dishes, and inattentive service, this was one of the more frustrating dining experiences we’ve had. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Have been twice to this restaurant, once with 8 people and once with 2. Both times the service was appalling. The first time we didn’t get asked if we wanted drinks for 20 minutes and they didn’t arrive for another 10. Our food order didn’t make it to the kitchen and we had to ask about it. We sat for an hour before the food arrived. Note: it was not remotely busy that night. The second time we didn’t get asked about drinks or food order for 20 minutes. Again, not a busy night, and we were going to a concert. After 40 minutes we had to ask about our order and it came almost instantly which told us it had been ready a while. We had to rush to eat our food, (which was very good) and ask for our bill to be made up so we could make it to the concert in time. We won’t be returning to Dorians.
