We have a cardinal rule: never eat in an empty restaurant - but we did and we won't be back.

One star for the setting - comfortable, attractive. One star for the ingredients - fresh, ripe. No more stars than those two.

I am convinced that the server should write down what is ordered. As difficult as it may be to imagine, she managed to bring one serving of French onion soup when two were ordered. Two people, each having soup before ordering mains.

Mezze platter full of fresh, ripe, good ingredients. No bread. If you order the whipped feta alone, you get bread but as part of the platter, you don't.

I believe that the chef has good intentions and obviously uses the finest ingredients. They simply cannot execute. The onions in the French onion soup were undercooked except for those that were uncooked. There was some cheese. Attention must have been expended upon the broth.

The carrot cake was more like a date-nut loaf and sliced in the same fashion. Almost half was left on the plate - simply could not have stomached more.

The bill. Extravagant. $120 for two disappointing soups, a mezzo platter without bread - I did ask for bread but it never arrived - desserts that could not be finished, and two mediocre drinks. No mains. A third of the bill was for two drinks and two desserts.

If you do intend to attend this venue, do so soon. I cannot imagine them surviving very long without repeat custom.

Excellent breakfast on 5th Sept 2024. Came by Isagani as we were staying at a nearby hotel and didn’t fancy breakfast there, so looked elsewhere.

Great friendly service from Waleed at Insagani, lovely food. We very much enjoyed the chat about ‘smoggies’ too!

I had the traditional eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. It was delicious. We always look for restaurants that serve farm to table and this did not disappoint. They have a large waffle menu that goes beyond your regular waffles. My husband had the blueberry waffles with the balsamic reduction and they were delicious. We each ordered an espresso drink that was one of the best we’ve had on this trip. Our waiter, Waleed, was the best; personable ,efficient, and very attentive. A great breakfast experience. Highly recommend

This is a hidden little gem inside The Prestige Hotel, across from Aberdeen Mall. Well worth the stop if passing by or want to make the drive from another part of town.

Where to begin?

First of all, let's talk about the service. We were a tour group (37 total) who had been evacuated from the Jasper fire. When we arrived at the hotel 645am, several went for breakfast right away. As the restaurant was not prepared for an influx, it was a little short-staffed, but they handled it and the great-tasting food made up for any delays.

Most of our group had dinner here the same night, and there was only one server, Grace, and one chef, Waltham. I honestly don't know how they managed it on their own, but they did. Very hard working, diligent, friendly, calm and joyful under duress.

The next morning Walid and Grace took care of us. They worked very hard and fast, getting orders in and out in a timely fashion. They were so wonderful with my group, joking and bringing smiles and laughter to all. My guests went on about how excellent the staff were.

The food was equally wonderful. My group raved about their meals. For dinner, I had the whipped feta dip as an appy, followed by the pork tenderloin. Both were perfectly prepared and had lots of flavour. My breakfast was equally amazing, and I have to say portion sizes were generous. Waltham is extremely talented!

Add to this the coziness of a small restaurant with great views.

Huge thank you for taking such good care of us, Walid, Grace & Waltham!

Delicious food and friendly service! Stopped here for dinner on our way through Kamloops. Pot roast was flavorful and burgers were great! Appreciated that the kids burger came with side veggies too.

Not as advertised. It’s a nice place with a tiny open kitchen and a very loud fan running constantly. Any closer to the kitchen we would have had to yell to make ourselves heard. Food was truly mediocre. Not farm to
table at all. Much more like Food service fare. If you’re looking for something special farm-food-wise, skip this and the noise..

A small restaurant inside a hotel. We enjoyed the food a lot. Some standard fare, like Beef French Dip sandwich, with some unusual dishes like a Mediterranean Falafel Bowl and Beet and Goat Cheese salad. Simple and tasty!

Great food, great service, 5 stars from me!

Staying at the hotel on a motorbike tour, decided to eat here rather than travel.

Waitress was really friendly recommended the pot roast, it was superb.

Had a Vancouver beer after riding through what seemed like a desert and then a locsl red wine to go with the meal, it was excellent.

Great, food, great service, one of best hotel restaurants I’ve been to.

I was looking for a new place for breakfast here in Kamloops and this place popped up. The food and service we great. My only complaint, and unfortunately this can't really be helped, is that there's no AC. Because the booths are that fantastic fake leather, the sweat was bad. They're trying to make it work with some swamp coolers but all that did for poor me was make it super humid. If you can handle that though, you're in for a breakfast treat. Can't want to try it out for dinner when it cools down a little and it hopefully won't feel like a sauna.

Make sure to tip Wil well. He puts up with a lot! ??
