We reserved a table on may 10th/2025 for 5 pm for a party of 6 that ended up being 5 people :) we were seated in the middle section.
I always like to start with the positives of anywhere we try. So the atmosphere was really nice. My daughter wasn't a fan of the music they had on but I liked it and it wasn't too loud. I really liked the vibe over all. The food was good. We had meat loaf, crusted haddock, a mittz burger with bleu cheese mushrooms and bacon with house salad and a 6 oz Ribeye with Brussels and some sort of potatoe. Plus cheese bread. The steak and burger were so good. Flavorful, balanced, and visually appealing. The fish and meatloaf were also very flavorful, but the dishes were not visually appealing. They should consider adding some color to both plates. They were very bland looking. Thankfully, they tasted good. Would definitely recommend the food.
The downside the service was not good (for us) and apparently the other tables the same waitress had as a couple coming in after us waited at least 15 min (maybe more) before a different waitress asked them if they had been helped. She never cleared our empties. Never asked if my dad wanted another beer (until the end of dinner) we never did get the salt and pepper we asked for and we had to ask a different waitress for a dessert menu because ours was asked but never came back. She was pleasant but slow and forgetful. The other 2 waitresses there seemed very efficient as they were helping her tables on top of their own. I never like to complain about someone trying to earn a living, but it just really seemed like she didn't care much. We both dropped our tips down to 12%, which honestly was probably too much. I won't sit in her section when we go back, which we will because overall it was a very nice dinner. It was a shame to have it spoiled by the service. Kudos to the other two waitresses, though.

The restaurant features a small outdoor patio in the front. Upon entering the main entrance is a small bar and reception area. The main dining room is good size featuring booth seating. The washrooms are located upstairs. They offer an assesable washroom on the main floor. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The food was very good.

I have had lunch here a few times before but never dinner. Went here with my two boys. Two of us ordered the brisket and my other son ordered the short rib. The brisket unfortunately was probably several days old as both of us had rather dry pieces. The accompanying Mac and cheese was good, as were the brussel sprouts. My other son’s dish was just ok. Carrots were bland, meat was ok.
We ordered the calamari to start as well. Save your 20 bucks. Small dish and the calamari was not good it did come with three shrimp which were good.
I did mention to our server, after I had paid the bill, that the brisket was dry - she vaguely acknowledged it and walked away. It would be nice if they could at least say thank you, we will let the kitchen know. Pricey for what we got. I won’t come back unfortunately.

Went to Mitz for brunch for the first time the other day! We have been for supper before and loved it and were super impressed by brunch. Went with my in laws and we all loved our meals! Great service, delicious food—will definitely be back!
