Recently visited for a music in the vineyard event. The event itself was really enjoyable but I had a concern about one of our add on purchases. The winery was quick to make things right after I had left a review. They reached out immediately and it was so appreciated, we will be back again in the future! Thank you again.
Stopped in with my wife on the way to AB. The place is clean, friendly, and developed. So...why 3 stars?
My wife and i shared a tasting of 4 selections, decided on a bottle of white, and bought it. The total volume of sample wine tried was about 2/3rds of a glass We were charged $10 for the tasting. It is standard at every winery i have visited in the GVRD and Okanagan over the last 20 years to not be charged a tasting fee if a bottle of wine is purchased. If one tastes and leaves, ok... one should pay the fee. However to charge when one makes the purchase is not cool and not standard. Maybe I missed it, but there was no sign i saw stating the tasting fee or that it will not be waived with a purchase. I felt a little gouged.
:(
Well, driving from Red Dder to Vancouver, thought I would stop to support a local business today at 1:00. I was in their store for 15 minutes, was not greeted when I came in the store and was not asked if I needed help with anything. So I decided to leave with out purchasing anything. Too bad.
We did a wine tasting there yesterday and it was fabulous. Ryerson was our tasting guide and he was personable and knowledgeable. The wine was very good too! I would recommend a stop here if you are in Kamloops!
What a stunning patio for a lunch or snack yummy wine great service and reasonable prices. Very relaxed and welcoming 10/10 recommend.
Great place that you might miss if you're not paying attention. Superb collection of local wines, and the food at the restaurant is excellent. Staff was very friendly and eager to make your visit a wonderful experience.
Awesome wines, beautiful views, and the food totally hit the spot. Everyone on the staff was friendly and made the whole experience even better. A good place to hang out with friends during summer time.
The welcoming staff were not welcoming at all.
Event was held indoors when weather was great outside.
Wine selection provided was disappointing,
The charcuterie board was also disappointing and inadequate.
Won't be returning.
The staff were very friendly and $10 for a testing was an excellent value - the pours were generous. We really enjoyed the sparkling rosé and the cab franc. Really nice venue and the surrounding area would be great for a picnic.
A stunning place not only for wine lovers. Located in the northern end of the continental desert 🌵 you can learn a lot about the environment and the challenges people face there. From the scorching sun to blistering cold. From drought to flood.
I really enjoyed my stay there.
Plus: stay for some lunch. You will like it.

Staff and food were great; thank you!
One of the best wineries in the valley, they have award winning wine and the price is very fair. I will definitely be back to buy more, and the event space is perfect for weddings.
Extremely bad experience - won't be returning
We had a very poor experience at Monte Creek Winery, which was especially disappointing since we had a great visit in the past and were excited to return.
We were not asked for ID before the tasting, which made what happened next incredibly frustrating. When we tried to purchase six bottles and a 4-pack, we were suddenly asked for two pieces of ID for everyone in our group — even though only one of us was making the purchase. One friend had only one piece of ID, and another had no physical ID with her.
Even though I had two valid pieces of ID and was the one buying the wine, the manager, Elliot, refused to sell to us. The reason? One of my friends who was just helping me carry two bottles didn’t have her second ID. She wasn't buying anything, just helping because I physically couldn’t carry all six bottles myself.
We were told this is BC liquor law, but it makes no sense that we were allowed to do the tasting without being asked for ID — and then denied the ability to buy wine afterward based on who we were with. If this is a strict policy, it should be clearly stated upfront. The inconsistency and lack of professionalism were shocking.
We felt completely disrespected and unwelcome. The whole situation was handled poorly and with zero flexibility or courtesy. Sadly, we won’t be returning, and we’ll be warning others about how this was handled.
I took my mom to Monte Creek on Mother’s Day, and I was disappointed to say the least. The food and wine were good but the atmosphere was edgy. I couldn’t help but notice tables waiting copious amounts of time for food, and when the food was brought out, it was quickly sent back. It’s evident by the disorganization that the manager does not prioritize proper hospitality. The tension of the staff was difficult to witness, especially when this grey-haired lady kept dismissing them throughout my visit. I would be willing to come out for the events in the summer, but otherwise did not enjoy the disorganization of this place.
What a treat it was to visit the winery today. We had the most amazing tasting room experience with Maureen and then enjoyed food, wine, and the frozen sangria on the terrace. 12/10!
