I can’t say enough wonderful things about Nishino Sushi in the Westsyde! Not only is their sushi consistently amazing, but they went above and beyond for me and my pup. When I popped in to pick up my order, they didn’t even bat an eye at letting my dog in—just asked if she was a service dog and were so kind about it. That kind of welcoming vibe was incredible. Plus, they actually crafted a special roll just for me with exactly the ingredients I was craving. It was such a personal and delightful touch. This place never, ever disappoints. Five stars all the way!

Crappy service. Order a California roll like every other time and as soon as I grab one with chopsticks they fall apart. Called asking for a refund and they tell me yup so I come back in and they insist on remaking it. Well hopefully they don’t fall apart again. The original owners from 2015-2016 they were amazing. Always made the food great service was always with a smile and never got any death stares when you walk in getting stared at like you interrupted dinner.

I have been going to this place for 15 years. Recently they have messed up orders or forgotten things and all they have said was enjoy. Its a luxury for me to order out and when I do I hope to get what I ordered. But lately never have. All i get is sorry too bad enjoy the food we gave you that you dont like , allergic to and never ordered. Poor customer service if you ask me. I think the owners great but i will order here again id its the customers fault for when staff messes up an order and never takes accountability. I'm sorry you mess up my order 4 times and never rectified it. Half my food has gone in the garbage. Waste of money. I tried to support you guys but can't don it anymore.

Ive ordered the same thing from this place twice because its close. The second time I was hoping for redemption, I was wrong. Both times I ordered Salmon and Tuna Maki, Toro Nigiri, and a Dynamite Roll. The Salmon was the highlight by far, it actually looked like Salmon. The Tuna however, was grey, tough, and stringy. Toro is supposed to be the most tender and flavorful type of Tuna within its grade, whatever Nishino is serving is not Toro. Its no different than the normal grey, tough and stringy "Tuna". The Dynamite roll was so thick it was unedible. Not because its full of avocado, cucumber and shrimp, no, its 90% crab with slivers of the other ingredients. On top of the horrible ratios, the rice that is supposed to hold the rolls together is down right awful.
There are FAR better options in Kamloops. Avoid this one.

i order here at least once a month.last 6 orders two with no miso,one with no condiments and to day no roles.4 out 6 orders wrong.were the leader ship to make sure things are rignt.very annoying.
