Went super late as we where driving home, atmosphere was nice and the service was good. Food was your average bar food but nothing to complain about persay, probably wouldn't stop back in though.

Haven't been here in 27 years. Staff were very helpful. Ordered the halibut and chips. Finding a place with halibut is rare. The fish here is NOT halibut - definitely cod. False advertising. Wife's chicken sandwich was good but gravy was from a can. We'll see about coming back.

I was looking for Fish and chips in Kamloops and this was one of the few that serve halibut that was open. It was the best fish And chips I ever had.. So good thaton the way back home just had to stop and have another order of those Fish and chips. The waitress also agreed that is the most popular item and that she recommends it all the time.
Well, obviously, it was a different Chef. I ordered it exactly as I had the last one double dipped and she said the chef says he couldn’t double dip it or did his best. Interesting the other Chef had no issue with it. There is no comment. This fish looked horrible. I wish I had taken a picture. I should’ve sent it back, but I thought maybe it tasted OK again it was very dry. I should’ve sent it back but I didn’t. So that’s on me. And I told the waitress and when I asked her, so what did the cook say?(Calling him a chef the first times was a mistake. He’s just a cook and frankly, I could’ve done a better job.) she said he didn’t really say much and I said no surprise there cooks don’t like to be criticized. Anyways, I think we’ll just go back to going to Duffy‘s. I don’t feel there’s any customer satisfaction, regardless of whether I should’ve mentioned it before The point is I did mention it and I bought two piece Fish and chips so I’m pretty sure they could’ve taken eight dollars off my bill for the second piece. My husband said his steak was medium rare but it looked well done to me. I think he was being nice because I was so disappointed in the fish And it was my idea to stop there instead of our Usual Pl., Duffys
The service in both cases was fabulous. Oh well at least I have the memory of the first perfect order of Fish and chips I ever had so kudos to that night Shift Chef

The food was fresh and packed with flavour—everything we ordered tasted amazing. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. On top of that, the service was quick and efficient, which made the experience even better. Great food, great vibe, and no long wait—definitely coming back!

I dropped by On The Rocks Pub & Grill while passing through Kamloops, and it was exactly the kind of local spot I hoped to find. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with plenty of seating both indoors and on the patio. You get that classic pub vibe without it feeling too noisy or overcrowded.
The food definitely hits the mark, solid portions and great value. I tried the wings (which seem to be a local favourite), and they didn’t disappoint: crispy, saucy, and perfectly cooked. Their burger was juicy and stacked just right, and the fries were golden and crisp. They also have a surprisingly good range of vegetarian options for a pub, which was a nice touch.
The service was friendly and casual. The staff checked in just enough without being overbearing. Also, if you're into sports, this is a great place, screens everywhere and a lively, but not overwhelming, crowd during game time.

I came to the pub to have a few drinks and enjoy a little down time before heading back to my hotel. There is only 1 table with roughly 8 ppl sitting at it and nobody else. These ppl are screaming over each other so loudly if I was here with a friend them sitting next to me I would not be able to hear them say anything I could not hear the waitress , they’re hammered when I brought it to the wages attention that I wanted to be the manager and just maybe ask them I don’t know. It’s quite down a little bit. She said it was kind of normal and in fact brush me off as a paying customer I’m entitled to be able to come somewhere and have a drink and not have people screaming, especially when it’s not a nightclub that It explains why they’re dead. They have 7 or 8 hotels surrounding them and they are the only pob within a reasonable walking distance and they are completely empty. I’m waiting to finish my drink and walk out the door: I highly recommend people go anywhere else but here specially if you are a hard-working business person that just wants a nice good social gathering place. I might as well be at a nightclub right now not a pub and grill.
