Original Joe's

Unfortunately my wife and I tried Joes for the first time last night and my wife picked up a bad case of food poisoning. She had the hamburger. I called the restaurant and talked with James the GM and he was very apologetic. He explained all the protocols they have in place. I called to inform him of the situation and explained I was not looking for any compensation but just wanted to explain the situation before I put up my review..
Not a great experience for our first and last time visiting Joes.

I am a hockey manager for a West Kootenay Team and we have been coming to Ojs Kamloops for the last 4 years. They are the most organized, professional and efficient restaurant staff that I have worked with - and over 4 years have utilized several establishments through hockey. In particular I would like to give kudos to Lorne (who has taken care of us many times) Tyler, Amir and Brody the chefs. Lana you are always reachable and so friendly to deal with. If you are travelling through Kamloops and need a place to eat or have a large group OJs Kamloops will take care of you 100%

Ordered online for pick up, two burgers with both sides being parm fries(2sides each of parm fries) - got 1 side of parm fries each and didn’t get second order for either also asked for no lettuce on 1 of 2 burgers and got lettuce on both. You don’t get the option to not tip if u order online and if I tip prior to I at least expect my order to be right when I spend $60 plus a service fee plus a tip.

The food here is always great however, the service continues to Disappoint me over and over. waiting over 20 minutes For our server to come around and take our order is ridiculous, when we mentioned we had the wrong drinks it took 10 minutes to get the right drinks Would love to see Changes made in management or just in general. Until then I will not be going back

Unfortunately we had a waitress that was new.
After she took out order for drinks we didn't see her anymore for a long time.
She forgot to take our order and we finally could order after 45 min.
I had chicken enchiladas which caused horrible food poisoning. The fries were cold and the enchiladas tough. The chicken tasted good, although it made me sick at midnight.
I got somewhat warmer fries after I send them back. Then we had to wait more because the waitress didn't have us any cutlery. My husband's steak sandwich was Ok ( tiny) but medium rare as ordered. His fries were also cold.
During our dinner we didn't get refills for drinks.
The 6 layer cake took also very long. No napkins provided. She made a mess on the table taking away the dips.The waitress blamed it all on the kitchen which showed no team player attitude.
Many sorrys but nothing else to turn it into a better experience.
Will never come again. Horrible way to celebrate a birthday. 🎈 Especially the food poisoning. 🤮 Hope this helps.
I'd like to give excellent reviews but this was what this was. Bad.

I’ve been coming here frequently for years and have nothing but positive things to say about the food, and especially the staff. Managed by incredible people who genuinely care about the atmosphere and I feel like family the moment I walk in. The cook is absolutely knocking it out of the park recently. WOW!

Original Joe’s is one of those places that always delivers. The food’s consistently good… solid burgers, great wings, and portions that actually fill you up. The vibe is relaxed, the music’s not too loud, and it’s an easy spot for dinner or drinks with friends. Natalie was our server and absolutely crushed it. She was friendly, fast, and somehow knew when to show up right when we needed something. Give that woman a raise.

Not going anymore because of their unprofessional behaviour and excessive wait time. The behaviour of the staff is undoubtedly rude all the way so just passing next time.

In town for the weekend and headed here for a reliable meal only to be shocked by surly service and a mediocre meal. I ordered a side garden salad with an appy. First salad was delivered with slimy greens. I sent it back. Server brought out a second salad apologizing but the quality waa the exact same. I sent it back and asked for it to be removed from my bill. My son received essentially burnt chicken tenders with fries stuck together in a clump on the plate. Dirty deep fryer taste. Won't be coming back any time soon.
