This location obviously is very poorly run judging by our experience and other reviews.
We travelled 2 weeks ago from Calgary specifically to go to this restaurant on our way to the island and we were told that they were having an issue but just couldn’t serve salads (looks like it was a fruit fly problem!)
We left and planned to go on our way home. Well here we are two weeks later and now the restaurant is completely closed except for take out even though the website says it’s open. We drove out of the way based on that!
We won’t try again. How absolutely disappointing.
Seems like a lack of transparency

I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately this is one we paid almost 80$ for our meals and the buns where hard as rocks and fries over salted. You pay good money to have quality food and asking for a tip before pick up sorry but no not for what we received. Staff and food is usually good not sure what happened.

Warners unsurpassable customer service and leadership skills makes him unequivocally an invaluable member for any organization. Red Robin Kamloops is lucky to have him on their team. All the best for his future. (My dish was also delicious. Thank you)

Upon entering, hostess informed us that they have a fly problem, and would not be able to serve wraps, or salads, but were able to make anything else on their menu...... Not impressed with the fact they were still encouraging guests to eat other food prepared in the same area they have a fly problem....

I am genuinely surprised this location has not been shut down for health violations. Upon arrival, the hostess informed us that they were not serving salads or wraps due to an ongoing fruit fly problem, but assured us the issue was under control. Unfortunately, it was not. The moment our meals arrived, they were instantly swarmed by fruit flies, making them inedible. To make matters worse, the washrooms were also heavily infested. The carpet was sticky and wet with pop throughout the main areas, likely the root cause.

This was an unacceptable dining experience.

We were immediately greeted by the hostess telling us several items on the menu were not available due to all of the flies in the restaurant. The solution to flies in the kitchen is not serving certain foods, seems odd to not address the fly issue properly. The food was good, but seeing that flies have been an issue for weeks is slightly concerning. There was also no cushioning in the seats.

When we went, there was a fly issue so you can eat a lot of the food because of the flies. There’s also flies all over the table. I felt so bad for a waitress though because she did nothing wrong

The only place other than 5 guys to get a great burger still, however they have completely lost their mind on price. Their chicken wings used to bee great but now they are precooked, warmed up leftover style. If Tim Hortons could ruin wings, this is how they would do it. How you could go from the best wings to this garbage...must be venture capital.

I very strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. A significant number of fruit flies in this place - we eventually gave up trying to eat our lunch after they kept landing on our food. In exchange for insects landing all over our food the manager offered us 25% off our barely eaten meals. We were told they've tried fumigating and have taken salad off the menu to try to prevent the infestation. It clearly hasn't worked. They also had no cutlery available - long after our meals arrived and as we were about to leave the waitress finally came by with some. Find somewhere, anywhere, else to eat.
