As a courier driver, I’ve consistently noticed that orders at Red Robin are just left unattended. Today (around 2:30 PM), I experienced this again—only worse.

There were three staff members visible: one at the bar, one cleaning tables, and another who seemed unoccupied. Despite my efforts to be patient, smile, and make eye contact, no one acknowledged me for over 15 minutes.

When I finally tried to talk to the girl at the bar, she responded rudely that they were short-staffed—which, respectfully, is not my issue as a delivery driver doing my job. I continued waiting without complaint.

Eventually, the staff member who had been standing idle responded after I used hand gestures. When I explained I had been waiting for over 15 minutes for a pickup, she smiled briefly—until she realized I was there for a delivery. Her tone changed instantly. She then pointed out that the food had been “just sitting there,” and said, “You could’ve taken it.”

With all due respect, we are not allowed to grab food unless the order number is clearly marked. That’s common sense and protocol. We deliver your food warm and safely to your customers—a little mutual respect shouldn’t be too much to ask.

I’ve experienced poor dine-in service here before but never complained. However, I won’t ignore this kind of rude and dismissive behavior anymore.

Warner was very personable and engaged with our kids (5,7,8). Awesome waiter, great service.

Best place in town. Thank you for great services.

Please bring back Red Robin to Alberta!

I love Red Robins I havent been to one in over 7 years because I live in Alberta. It made my day to see that Kamloops still has theirs. This is the best berger joint hands down. Bottomless drinks and sides ?. This place is like a corner stome of my childhood. Im happy that the look feel and taste are all the same from way back when.

I made a large reservation for our hockey team same day, Katie the manager was very accommodating and got us in no problem. Our server was lovely, great with the little ones, and she was very attentive! We had a group of 35+, and she was on it from refills, to extras fries, and our food came out fast. They did great and would definitely recommend for any traveling teams!

Fairly disappointed in the quality with our last two visits. Went this evening and got two kids meals and a burger. Kids meals came with maybe 5 fries? They are bottomless so wasn’t too worried at first but after one kid had finished his and I had finished mine it took over 20 minutes for a different waitress to come back around for us to request more. No offers for drink refills for either kid, had to request one for myself.

Both visits were not doing “dinner rush”.

No offer for dessert for either kid and by the time we got our fries we had to ask for and wait on the kids were tired of being there.

The service was ok the food wasnt great. We constantly had fruit flies flying around our food and ourselves. I killed 8 of them before the food had arrived. I let the waitress know of the issue. I ordered coffee, the waitress said we don’t have coffee. Our food arrived and the fruit flies were relentless. I couldn’t eat my salad as the flies were in it. If I wasn’t so hungry we would have left.
The carpet was sticky and the restaurant is not clean at all. The washrooms were filthy. We won’t be back.

We will never go to Red Robin again, it was absolutely the most disappointing experience we have ever had in a restaurant. 1.) We made a reservation, and they did not have a table reserved for us. 2.) Our drinks came but the milk requested for the tea only came after 2 further requests. 3.) The meals for the kids was below standard, the pizza was cold, the mac and cheese was a solid lump, the mandarin oranges were out of a can and basically mush. 3.)The chicken in the cajun chicken burger appeared to be a formed processed piece. 4.) The food took an hour to come to our table, and the restaurant was not busy. Other patrons had come, eaten and left before we received our meal.
Again, we were expecting a happy time with our grandchildren but were so disappointed.
