We had a really great experience here recently! Our group of six dropped in for a wine tasting and left with a big box full of wine! Many of us had never done a wine tasting and everyone left with smiles and new memories đ especially my partner's Oma who's been wanting to go to a winery for years! It was also extra nice of the young man to let us pick some apricots (Oma was very happy to have her pockets full of apricots to snack on in the car :D) Thanks Sagewood winery for the hospitality!

We hadn't booked, and received a very hospitable reception, and had a great time learning about the grape and the different wines as well tasting the different wines. Amazing, cute family run winery. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area to check out. We did our tasting with Nick, who was very welcoming and passionate about the wines. Amazing wine and great service, couldn't ask for anything more.
I went here after reading the last review saying this place is better than few of the biggest in town. I must say this was 100%true!!! The wine tasted out of the world. Must go if you are in the area please!

Had an awesome time with Dr.Dough Wood and Nick . Sure had fun time at the Winery and thanks for the good feelings and experiences. We were lucky as we get to eat Haskap Berries as well. Wine sure taste great at Sagewood ?
Girlâs weekend found us stopping at this hidden unsuspecting gem. Now one of my top wine tasting experiences. Doug and Nick are so proud of their wines. The time they spent with us answering all our questions about soil to sales was greatly appreciated. We had so many laughs! There is no need for pressure sales the wine sells itself and Doug simply recommends buying what you like! Thatâs some honest business practice right there! 10/10 would recommend a little jaunt across the river to the county side to explore this winery!

Customer service is very good but they should provide a clean restroom to their customers who spend money and come out of the track to check it out I'm very disappointed by their restroom it's almost overflowing and so many caterpillars on the floor.

Highly disappointed to drive an hour only to arrive to a cardboard sign on the gate saying âclosed todayâ. We checked the website before leaving and it stated they were open, definitely not the start to a birthday celebration we had planned?

My FiancĂ© and I stopped here on our way back to Calgary. We were earlier than expected and Dr. Doug rushed to accommodate us right away. He was knowledgeable and passionate, everything you want in a Winery host. Not to forget the wines had a unique and wonderful flavour. I highly recommend Dr. Dougâs service and wine!

Wonderful little family run winery with very friendly people and delicious wines. I used the Emmarie Rosé as one of my wedding wines and it was a huge hit! It paired well with the food (taco bar) and was delicious for sipping afterwards too. I also LOVE the Concord but it might be a couple years before that one comes available again. Stock up when you visit because their wines are hard to find anywhere else.
