The food here is always fresh and their prices are really reasonable. The staff and owners are lovely and welcoming. Great kids area too, with supervisors who are kind and remember my daughter's name (even though we're not there often).

This is my favorite place to take the kids in town! I come here at least once or twice a week. The prices are amazing, and they have a great variety of delicious food for both adults and kids. The owners are super friendly too. I honestly wish everyone could experience this place.
If I had to pick one downside, it’s that they’re closed on Saturdays during the summer. If they were open on saturdays, I’d probably come three times a week! 🤣
Highly recommended

Wish I knew about this place sooner. So nice being able to sit, chat, and have some nice non-greasy food while the little one plays.

My husband had an ok sandwich but my soup and latte were pretty mediocre at best. Stick with something that is difficult to get wrong.

Great break for mom or dad, decent food/coffee/drinks, love that they have a person to watch your kiddos so you can get a break. Great for stay at home parents! Highly recommend. Only wish is that it would be open weekends. 🙂

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Bring your kids 0-5 years old.

Place to relax

It is SO rare to find indoor, kid-friendly spaces these days that aren't exorbitantly expensive. I was delighted to stumble upon Sweet Home Cafe and to find that the whole experience is catered toward parents and kids! The food was simple but delicious. Not only was the price incredibly reasonable, the service was also excellent; we were served our food as well as a plastic side plate and sippy cup of water for my son. Such a thoughtful touch!

The play area was sizeable and well stocked. Since my son is still under a year old I stayed with him, but I had a lovely chat with the young woman who was supervising and she was very sweet with my son. I also saw her cleaning toys while we were eating; it's always nice to see good cleaning practices being followed in kid's play spaces.

As some others have mentioned the cafe itself is a bit plain in terms of ambience, but I think most parents will easily overlook that considering everything else on offer!

My 2yr old son had a blast playing while I got to relax with my 3mo daughter. A nice affordable way to get out of the house and still escape the heat without having to juggle a 2yr and 3mo old. Highly recommend this place! We will be going again forsure!
