The Vic is my favourite place to grab a coffee, sit down and work away from the office, and to catch up with friends on the weekend. The staff are friendly and attentive and make the atmosphere so welcoming. The drinks kick Starbucks butt any day of the week, along with their sandwiches and pastries. But my favourite menu item has to be their homemade soups and chilis (drooling). Great place to be :)
Been in Kamloops a few months now and made it my mission to find the best espresso in town.
I spent 2 years as a barista in college and purchased my own high end machine for home, but it’s nice to get a treat out now and then.
So far, the Vic has ensured themselves solid and consistent win. the perfect texture, delicious aroma, balanced profile- sweet but not too sweet- zero sour notes, zero bitterness. . I’m happy to cast my vote here...

Coffee is good, staff are pleasant, and location is consistently clean. My biggest gripe is the length of time it takes for food. There's no reason it takes 20+ minutes (after ordering) to heat up a pre-made wrap. This has been my experience on multiple occasions, so my recommendation is not to go here for warm food if you're on a break from work.
